I love Flamespeaker Adept 's ability with Scrying, and the big combo is Flamespeaker Adept and Aqueous Form. On turn 4 you can consistently have a 4/3 unblockable every turn. With the possibility of a turn 4 win (Magma Jet turn 2, Flamespeaker Adept turn 3, Aqueous Form and 3 Titan's Strength turn 4).

Other scrying booster cards for Flamespeaker Adept are Titan's Strength combining that with control and burn cards Dissolve Voyage's End and Magma Jet.

Izzet Charm is a must as it gives you a counterspell, burn card, or card draw all for 2 CMC.

Thassa, God of the Sea will almost never become a creature in this deck, but that doesn't matter as she's really only used to scry and boost Flamespeaker Adept.

Spellheart Chimera feeds well off of all the instants and sorceries used to pump Flamespeaker, and Young Pyromancer creates many blockers to protect.

My mid game board control comes from Mizzium Mortars and Portent of Betrayal (also with scrying ability along with punching people in the face with their own creature).

I'm looking for feedback from anyone who sees flaws, as this is my first standard deck in 10 years as I've been out of the game for a while. This is also my first write up in Tappedout, so any Sideboard feedback or Mainboard concerns is appreciated.

So this deck falls vulnerable to some burn and removal, and doesn't have enough small 1 or 2 drops to account for it. Even with Dissolve and Izzet Charm it was hard to get around the removal and burn without having more creatures.

I lost 2-1 to a red agro burn haste deck. All the games we're close I just wasn't fast enough to get my big swing.

I also lost to a Gruul deck with land destruction, and was able to start quick but lost potency late.

Won against a White Heroic deck 2-0 and a Black deck attempting at control (was his first time) 2-0.

-2 Young Pyromancer -2 Portent of Betrayal -1 Mountain -1 Dissolve -1Spellheart Chimera +4 Blistercoil Weird +3 Nivix Cyclops to main. +2 Portent of Betrayal to side.

Hopefully this will allow me some quick 1 drops with Blistercoil Weird and still play off his bonus, plus Nivix Cyclops can take most burn spells.
