I based this off of the Splitmouse and Lerker Blood Pod list, so credit to them for their primer. I've been playing around with Stax decks for my recent EDH decks and haven't quite found the right sort of brew for my playstyle. Before even coming to EDH as my primary format I played Legacy, and in that I played Death and Taxes. Not until a few decks in to my Commander journey did I try a DnT style deck again, I had found this in a Queen Marchesa deck. It set out early taxing and etb tapped abilities, then ran people down with Grave Titan and other Hero of Bladehold like creatures. This eventually got disassembled to work on other decks. So I have dabbled in other generals looking for someone to lead a stax deck that grabs me. I first found Keranos, God of Storms as an MTGO deck, which still is very intriguing to me, but I found his gameplan was a little to linear to be my one stax deck. I then saw Ghave, Guru of Spores as a general, I even started building him, but noticed I found myself just playing him as a redless token generating version of the Queen. So i took to Laboratory Maniacs and discovered the partners, Tymna the Weaver and Tana, the Bloodsower. Beat face and crush hearts with creatures and stax pieces, sign me up. So here is my current build. It's still in progress so be sure to add suggestions in the comments and we'll discuss it! Ciao!
