  1. Dig with Careful Study, Tolarian Winds, Bazaar Trademage, Champion of Wits, and Flux
  2. Play Seance. Use your opponents' turns to create spirit copies of Gravebreaker Lamia, etc. as needed.
  3. On your next turn, create a Spirit copy of Scholar of the Ages. Use Wake the Reflections to create additional Spirit copies. The additional copies won't be exiled at the end of the turn!
  4. On your next turn, create a Spirit copy of End-Raze Forerunners. Alternate two copies of Wake the Reflections to create Spirit copies of End-Raze Forerunners and Scholar of the Ages.
  5. Swing big.

Notes:

  • While you only need one copy of Wake the Reflections to make unlimited copies of Scholar of the Ages, you need two copies of Wake the Reflections to make unlimited copies of End-Raze Forerunners. Try to find both copies before you need them!
  • Rules Explanation: When you use Wake the Reflections to copy Scholar of the Ages, you can absolutely return that same Wake to your hand. Per rule 603.3, "Once an ability has triggered, its controller puts it on the stack as an object that’s not a card the next time a player would receive priority." In other words, the Scholar's ability triggers during the resolution of Wake, but the ability doesn't go on the stack until after the Wake is put into your graveyard, which allows you to target the Wake. The same idea applies to Eternal Witness, per its ruling: "If an instant or sorcery spell puts Eternal Witness onto the battlefield, its ability can target that card in your graveyard."
