+1 for the fact this deck has achieved position #69
Also because altering color words is something cool.
I looked fast, but are you interested in Ghostly Prison for pillow fort?

If you're on a dig for a certain creature, and you're running green, then Chord of Calling, Worldly Tutor, Sylvan Library, Survival of the Fittest, and Fauna Shaman, Primal Command, and Summoner's Pact are your friends. Additionally, if you're running a commander with CMC 6, you will want to run AT MINIMUM 36 lands. With this list, you're going to have some serious mana issues.

What do you think about Skull of Orm? I managed to snag one a couple days ago for my dromar deck.

Also, Trait Doctoring? Pop that on your commander and you're good to go.
March 10, 2015 2:51 p.m.
@vishnarg The average CMC is around 3, with most of the cards being low-cost enchantments. With Rites of Flourishing, Compulsion, Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, Selvala, Explorer Returned, Oracle of Mul Daya and my 3 enchantresses I rarely ever have problems digging for lands. Treva herself doesn't come out until the late game when the board is clogged, if she comes out at all.
Those enchantments seem very useful. I'm holding off on Sylvan Library until I can buy the promo but Survival of the Fittest is something I'm definitely interested in. The others are useful but I'll have to ponder what I would want to take out.
Trait Doctoring is a cool card but it's very bad in this deck. I typically use the color change on my opponents' turns to affect their combat or protect myself an Trait Doctoring is sorcery speed. The Cipher also resolves after combat damage, meaning I have to use it in my second mainphase, which I rarely need to do.
I appreciate you looking through the deck and your reccomendations!

@Ghosthunter39 That card is the bees knees, I'll see if I can fit it in

I know you don't use it but Teferi's Moat+Archetype of Imagination works well together.

Another card you might like is Academy Rector. If you want to I updated my dromar deck.

Your land count needs increasing, 33 lands is WAY too low, especially with a 6 drop general. Also, with access to green why aren't you running Eternal Witness?
April 7, 2015 9:53 p.m.
The general is a win-more play; she only comes out when we've either played Shifting Sky, someone is playing tokens, or I have a large enough board presence to gain 10-15 life from swinging. I don't have ways to increase her P/T either so I will rarely be trying to win with commander damage. The deck functions more like an Angus Mackenzie deck. The deck also has an average CMC of 2.78, with most of the cards being low-cost instants and enchantments. It also features a lot of library manipulation and draw so land is not normally a problem. I will try playtesting with another land, though.
As for Eternal Witness, I've never considered putting it in. The effect is nice but I focused more on large-scale returns (Praetor's Counsel, Reap). I could try running it though.

The thing about E-witness is that she gives you a body and the return effect for 3 mana. Worth.
And the reason for recommending more lands, you're running things like Sungrass Prairie and Temple of the False God and still only 33 lands. Even with the library manipulation, you should be looking more in the vacinity of 36-37 for a tri coloured deck. It just provides more guarantee that you will get the mana you need when you need it.

Really like the flavor in here - very creative concept as well, +1 from me! Also, Academy Rector?
April 29, 2015 3:44 a.m.
I like the idea behind Well-Laid Plans but it is too focused on changing the color of permanents, rather than altering what the word says. My only ways of changing permanent colors are Shifting Sky and Distorting Lens so it is better for me to just change what the word says (and Well-Laid Plans has no color words). I've also go Light of Day in the deck and it behaves similarly.
As for Academy Rector, it's been recommended by so many people now I'll give it an obligatory playtest.

This looks like an original, fun deck. Do you think a similar strategy could work with any of the other non-elder dragons, like Dromar, the Banisher?
May 22, 2015 3:44 p.m.
The only other Primeval Dragon that can really do it is Dromar, the Banisher. Color hack effects are centered in blue, limiting it to Dromar, the Banisher and Crosis, the Purger but the only card that affects the colors of cards in your opponents' hands (Painter's Servant) is banned, so Crosis gets minimal value. I have an old WIP of Dromar but it is not up to date, but Ghosthunter39 has a good color hack Dromar deck:

I'm kind of wanting to build this deck. As much as I love dromar this deck seems fun.

@flluid: That's an interesting angel but it requires an opponent to swing first, which means I could already be dead if someone is playing, say, Ulasht, the Hate Seed.
@Ghosthunter39: It is a very fun deck to play and very versatile. The longer the game goes on, the greater your chance to win. It requires a lot of foresight to play effectively, though; you need to be on top of your game because one wrong play will end you.

haha fair enough... ever think of something cruel and unusual say Mana Web?
June 14, 2015 12:07 p.m.
I have but I've got the enchantress theme going and haven't found many cruel enchantments that synergize with the deck. On a side note, I just removed Chameleon Colossus and Explosive Vegetation for Sylvan Library and Kodama's Reach. Thinking about adding Cultivate, as well.

I hate to mention this, but Painter's Servant is banned in EDH.

Ah! Never mind, I thought I saw it in your deck as well as the title. Ignore me!

What do you think about running Hanna, Ship's Navigator?
Ruffigan says... #1
I have. I used to run it but it was often killed before it came back to my turn and if I had Prophet or Seedborne Muse out I most likely needed the mana for something else. It's one of my favorite cards, though
