@Daedalus19876: All is fine! Flavorwise, you are the Painter and the Painter's Servant has gone missing so you venture out to try and find it. Little do you know the Rules Committee has removed it from the Multiverse, your search in vain!

Another land you could consider is Rogue's Passage. It helps get damage through.
July 1, 2015 1:31 p.m.
I actually use the Absolute Grace and Absolute Law with color changers to get damage through if I need to, but most of the time I just defend. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
July 1, 2015 6:01 p.m.
I have, I'm gonna test it as soon as it comes out. Not sure what I'm going to replace yet, though.
July 2, 2015 9:42 p.m.
Any suggestions to replace Supply/Demand? I'm thinking maybe Eladamri's Call or Genesis Wave? I really just want to be able to grab Prophet of Kruphix or Seedborn Muse with it but Genesis Wave could really seal the deal.
July 6, 2015 12:18 p.m.
The call is a straight tutor. The wave digs. Personally I like the call better.
July 7, 2015 1:27 a.m.
I guess the difference is do you wanna know what your getting or would you rather play out much mana I can spare roulette?
Also have you tried running Luminarch Ascension?
July 8, 2015 2:03 a.m.
That's the thing, I'm not sure. The way it was I could sink my mana to make saprolings and swing as a win condition as well as tutor. The Wave could give me insurmountable advantage or nothing, but the Call will always get me the Prophet. I guess I'll try them both and see how it goes.

If you're just using Treva as a filler commander for Bant, consider Jenara, Asura of War maybe? She gives you the same flying blocker with a comparable body, but has the ability to pump herself and churn out damage much faster; an unanswered Jenara in the late game is very hard for many decks to deal with due to the amount of mana usually floating around by then- she's often capable of being lethal in one to two swings. Having a mana sink might be more beneficial as a "just for the colors" commander.
Herald of the Pantheon from Origins seems like an auto include in an enchantress/pillowfort shell. Starfield of Nyx has amazing utility in its graveyard to battlefield enchantment return as well, but it's held back by it's animation effect: creature wipes are now a whole lot more scary. Additionally, on the whole Pillowfort thing, I was surprised not to see Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, or Sphere of Safety for creature protection.
Lastly, since you have Faith's Reward, I have to recommend Cataclysm. Cataclysm + Faith's Reward is a very relevant win condition.
Good luck with the deck :3

Thanks for the comment. I have a Herald of the Pantheon on the way. It seems good but my enchantments are all pretty low cost and it is not an enchantment itself so I'm not sure it'll help a ton. Starfield of Nyx I saw firsthand how bad it can be when I boardwiped my friend with a Damnation the other day so it is not going in.
I think Sphere of Safety is too expensive but I have thought about Ghostly Prison and Propaganda in the past. My meta doesn't typically swing out unless it is fatal so it's not a problem most of the time but in groups with more aggro they would be an auto-include. I'll actually order some for that reason, thanks.
I don't get Faith's Reward super often and Cataclysm is not a card I'd really want to see without it, but it is a cool win-con.

Did you get tired of people telling you Painter's Servant is banned? lol

You've heard the news that Prophet of Kruphix is banned?
January 21, 2016 3:45 a.m.
@Dorotheus: Yes haha. I still cross my fingers every banlist update hoping he'll make his triumphant (and probably short lived) return.
@Daedalus19876: Yes, unfortunately. I'm not sure what to put in at the moment. I was thinking about Awakening but I'm not sure how much my opponents will be able to abuse it.

Quest for Renewal isn't bad, if you're just looking for creature untap effects.
January 21, 2016 2:15 p.m.
I'm looking for the land untapping, actually: I need it in order to utilize my color change cards on my opponents' turns. I don't really swing that much so my creatures not untapping is not much of an issue.
January 21, 2016 2:52 p.m.
So with Prophet of Kruphix being banned I've been thinking about improving the decks ramp package to compensate. So far I'm thinking Nature's Lore, Exploration, and Harrow, and maybe throwing in Awakening. It is a very dangerous card but I think, if played properly, I can leverage most of the advantage. This would also involve losing a couple filter lands in favor of more basics.

What cards on this list are actually in this deck? it says it has 100 cards. but the numbers don't add up. there is 95 if you don't count sideboard, maybe board and ramp... u add ramp plus commander and u get 109.
April 14, 2016 11:03 p.m.
It is sorted into custom categories so some of them have share cards. If you count up the cards in the type view you'll see that there are 99 + the commander.

Ah thank you, my girlfriend is trying to make a Bant EDH, so I have been looking around, she saw yours and currently its the top contender. Then we got confused over the custom view.

Glad to hear that, it is a very fun deck to play! I have actually made some changes to the deck since Prophet of Kruphix was banned that make it a bit more expensive but more resilient over all. I'll make sure to update that soon so you can see it,

Privileged Position maybe a card to consider. With either Sterling Grove or Greater Auramancy out thats 'hexproof' on all permanents you control.

It seems good, but without running haste in my deck it will take some playing around to use the ability. But the ability to get something back every turn with Prophet of Kruphix and Seedborn Muse is intoxicating.
Also, I was thinking of removing the three temples (Temple of Enlightenment, Temple of Plenty, Temple of Mystery) for an Island, a Forest, and a Plains. Then also removing Selvala, Explorer Returned for Cultivate. While Selvala is a great source of card draw (especially with Prophet or Muse) it has to last a turn on the board to use, and it also lets everyone else draw. I mostly use it for ramp and I figure having the lands is a more reliable source of mana.
