This deck is a tribal sphinx deck, and while the deck itself is very high casting cost the quicksilver amulets offset the mana costs greatly and with a good draw some pretty powerful sphinxes can start hitting the board by turn 5. There's some lifelink and control mixed in but it's mainly designed to just start dropping the sphinxes on the board and let them do their thing.
