Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it may contain up to fifteen cards.

With the exception of basic land cards, a player's combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its English card title equivalent.

Combos

The main theme i used here is prowess and it s a combination of R and cards. In general i need to cast cheap and fast spells to trigger my Prowess creatures, like Monastery Swiftspear, Seeker of the Way and Ojutai Exemplars.

But Let's take a closer look. For noncreature spells I play almost instant spells and a lot of removal. For Turn two removal I play Lightning Strike, Ride Down and Valorous Stance. For Turn Three removal I play Crackling Doom and Kolaghan's Command.

In addition, I play 2 copies of Soulfire Grand Master to bring back some life. Lightning Strike + Soulfire Grand Master or Crackling Doom + Soulfire Grand Master are nice combos to create some life advantage.

The main function of Seeker of the Way and Soulfire Grand Master is to compensate the damage taken by creatures I can t block with my weak creature board (only 15 Creatures).

A huge problem with prowess decks is that they need at least one creature to combo with so what to do against heavy removal decks. In that case I added [[gods willing], Kolaghan's Command. With Center Soul I get protection from one collor and I can get 2 prowess triggers. Kolaghan's Command is a pretty nice card itself. It s pretty easy to get an advantage with the discard, the back to hand or 2 damage ability.

This Deck is about mind games. Prowess is always a threat and could be triggered while fighting. My enemy always has to expect an instant in the combat phase. To higher the impact of those mind games I tried to add different instants, like Gods Willing with protection or Valorous Stance with indestructible.

The next card I want to talk about is Spear of Heliod. I added Spear of Heliod to make my weak 2/2 drops to 3/3 drops and prevent all the 2 damage removal in our current standard meta without useing spells to rigger prowess. In addition, this card is nice way to use mana in a later game state to remove big threats of your enemy.

Turn Kill:

Turn : Play Mountain or Battlefield Forge and cast Monastery Swiftspear. Attack for 1 Damage

Turn : Play Plains or Battlefield Forge or Caves of Koilos and cast Seeker of the Way. Attack for 1 Damage with Monastery Swiftspear

Turn : Play Plains or Battlefield Forge or Caves of Koilos or Mountain and play one more Monastery Swiftspear. Cast Lightning Strike for 3 Damage and trigger 3 times prowess. Attack for 2+3(With Lifelink)+2 Damage.

Turn : You don't need one more land to close the game here. Play Gods Willing and Lightning Strike or one more Gods Willing for 2 Prowess trigger. Now Attack for 10 Damage. You have done 22 Damage atm (1+1+10+10).

There are many more combos to kill your enemy in turn . This is just one example.

Conclusion:

In my opinion this Deck is a nice answer for the current standard Meta, but honestly I started playing magic with the set khans of tarkir and therefore my knowledge about this game is on a very beginner level. I read a lot of Articles about Deck building and Manacurves and that's my Result.

I Hope some of you are Standard players willing to help a beginner. Please leave some comments and explain why you would suggest these or those changes.

Sincerely Facelezz
