I don't know what it is, but this build just clicked.

Advantages: Lifelink makes this deck really hard to kill, and the combination of Deathtouch, First Strike, and token generation means that this deck accrues ridiculous card advantage in combat.

'Battlecruiser Magic' subtheme means that every creature I draw is potentially a humongous threat. This also means that this deck typically deals well with global removal.

Problems: My matchup against Mythic Conscription and removal-heavy decks leaves something to be desired.

Heavy targeted removal reduces this deck's effectiveness more than it should due to the emphasis on creature-support at the expense of threat-density.

The matchup against Next Level Bant becomes much harder to win (drop from 55% to 35% to win) if the other player manages to O-ring both Basilisk Collars.
