Sekki's basically just a big ol' ghost piñata, seriously. Smack him and dead things fall out, what's not to love?

So how does Sekki do? One look at the card and it's easy to mistake one crucial bit of information that, honestly, kinda gimps the deck if the builder isn't aware of it.

"So whenever Sekki would take damage, you instead remove that many counters, then make spirits equal to the number of counters you removed, right?"

Nonono.

The counter reduction is just an unfortunate side effect. If Sekki would receive damage, instead create that many 1/1 spirits, AND remove that many +1/+1 counters.

Sekki doesn't need counters at all to make the spirits.

It also just doesn't take damage, ever.

Meaning, ANYTHING that pumps its toughness by even 1, makes it immune to all forms of damage-related death (yes, even Deathtouch), while continuing to make as many tokens as it gets smacked for.

Does Sekki currently have a single, lowly +1/+1 counter on it? Then it gets smacked for 9?

Make 9 spirits.

(And then Sekki explodes into a pile of sad goo or something unless you boost its toughness.)

So now, what issues does the deck currently have, that I would appreciate some input on?

  1. What to do before I can ramp up to cast Sekki. I'm lowish on creatures, so pretty vulnerable during the early game.

  2. Card draw. Turns out non-elf mono-green go-wide-not-tall kinda sucks at drawing cards consistently.

So I've been adding 8 gorillion cards to the Maybeboard for the sake of keeping track of particularly useful cards, and so, I will list off some that I'm particularly fond of, but I'm not sure whether I should really run them. Feedback on any of these would be greeeaaaatly appreciated!
