Second Harvest, and Parallel Evolution are blowouts, but are usually either "win more" cards, or just dead in your hand, I would suggest Crop Rotation, and Expedition Map as substitutes to dig for cradle, and I like to run a copy of Song of the Dryads to permanently remove a player's commander from the table, but that's almost sideboard hate against voltron generals

I am a big fan in my build of running Burning Wish, with a wishboard of Vandalblast, Damnation, Ashes to Ashes, Collective Voyage, Sadistic Sacrament, Cathartic Reunion, Boundless Realms, Fury of the Horde, Pox, and Primal Command. In competitive edh, players are permitted a 10 card "wishboard" that are the cards they are permitted to search up with cards like burning wish and Death Wish (a little too balls-to-the-wall for me, but could be a second burning wish, very versatile sideboard tutors) just think about running them, They can be quite helpful

+1. This is a sweet deck! You might not want it but if you animate all of your lands and then cast Obliterate you'd probably end games on the spot.

chirz2792 A vicious idea! ...if my playgroup wasn't 100% done with land destruction. It's just not something that makes playing against a deck very fun, and we all agreed to simply leave it out, as we did with infect. Thanks for the comment and vote!

So am I missing something or is there a reason you aren't running a Purphoros, God of the Forge in this deck? It has ridiculous synergy with your game plan and is an alternate win con should you be dealing with heavy pillow fort shenanigans. I understand that it overlaps a bit with Warstorm Surge, but it is harder to remove and is costs two less mana. And besides, redundancy is always a good thing to have in a combo deck.

Teal_Fox Purphoros would be a powerhouse here, and isn't excluded on purpose. I just don't have one. Gonna go ahead and add it to the maybeboard, though. Thank you for the suggestion.

Love this. If you were going for extra style points and wanted to win with 0 board presence, after you Descent of the Dragons your lands, you should Soulblast.

landofMordor HA! That would be pretty crazy! The on that makes it a bit rough, plus it'd have to be cast the same turn as Descent of the Dragons. A fun thought, though. Thanks for the comment and +1!

I don't mean to rain on your parade here but doesn't your general only trigger off of nontoken creatures? By sacing your lands you'll still get some value, but by sacing your other tokens you wouldn't get the general's benefit... am I missing something? If I am then this is awesome but I guess I don't fully understand why you would sac all. Thoughts?

Snap157, the general is one of many effects in the deck that trigger on nontoken creatures dying, your lands are considered nontoken creatures, so you can turn them into multiple tokens using the token generation cards. you usually won't need to sac the tokens

Snap157 - I went full-tilt balls-out on the combo here - only 5 cards (some of the removal) aren't potentially pieces of the token machine. Even with a few things getting hit with removal, by turn 7 or 8 I usually have enough token generation combined w/ pumps or doublers to win that turn.
To be fair, this deck has been brought to it's knees by a Fog, but that's not usually the case.

This is a really sick use of Sek'kuar! I like the inclusion of old forgotten gems like Phyrexian Purge! Considerign the inclusion of land animate spells like Jolrael, would inclusing mass land destruction like Boom/Bust not be effective? You get Graveborn tokens, they lose their entire landbase? Fiery Confluence's first mode is the only way I see you dispatching these animated lands.
I brewed a Sek'kuar Shadowborn Apostle deck built around comboing off with Razaketh, the Foulblooded! Here's the link :) http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/born-in-the-shadow-of-the-grave/update/
Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper is an insanely powerful Jund commander when paired with sacrifice outlets... but what really lets my deck go off is the haste he puts onto the board (massing tokens then using spells like Cryptolith Rite to turn these bodies into mana, furthuring our combo). I like the idea your deck is going :)

Hi KeilFX! Phyrexian Purge is hugely underrated, in my opinion. Glad you appreciate it.
Mass Land destruction was not included per the request of my playgroup. Games where it's proliferate end up lasting too long.
I'll check out your brew tomorrow. Thanks for checking out mine!

Great deck +1How about Overlaid Terrain, Gaea's Balance, or Natural Balance
Overlaid Terrain is great if you have a Backup Plan to hand.
Gaea's Balance sac 5 lands and gives 3 lands back
Natural Balance, great if you can sac you lands.
Please let me know what you think :)

Great picks! Both Overlaid Terrain and Gaea's Balance were included in the original build of the deck, but were cut to make room for others.
Natural Balance isn't a card I've seen before...very interesting! I'll consider it for sure.
Thanks again!

VesuvanDoppelbanger Really awesome deck idea! I love seeing unusual themes executed well. I stumbled on this from the front page after seeing a few cards that aren't usually found in EDH decks; I run a lands deck that sacrifices lands so it caught my eye. Have you considered Rain of Filth and/or Reprocess at all?

Thank you for the compliment! This beast has turned into my favorite deck. Rain of Filth has been in and out a few times - it works very well, but it's dead-in-hand until the turn you go off, so it got cut in favor for things that can be dropped beforehand. Reprocess would fill my hand, but only after I've comboed - and I don't plan on having a 'next turn' at that point. I cut out other draw-on-sac mechanisms as well with that in mind.

Hey! Love the deck, it's been a huge inspiration for me over the past 6 months or so as I've transitioned my own Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper list into a lands/value hybrid shell.
Have you considered Kamahl, Fist of Krosa? I know it takes some effort to do a mass sacrifice as compared with, say Natural Affinity, but I have great success with him due to the versatility as either a token buffer or land->creature enabler.

I had Kamahl in here for a long time, and he worked very well. During my last revision, I pushed hard to bring the average CMC of the deck down, so it could combo faster. Since Kamahl requires additional mana investment after he's in play, he got cut.
But don't worry, Kamahl isn't missing out. I put him in charge of my Squirrel deck, and he's never been happier.

LeoSushi It's a new addition (obviously I guess), and I haven't actually seen it in action. I had a feeling it would be underwhelming. I think I'll cut it for Warstorm Surge - I hated cutting that one to begin with, because it fits so well alongside Pandemonium and Impact Tremors. I want to make room for Ambuscade Shaman again as well, but cuts are hard now.
