He's pretty much telling him to play another deck xD

This deck is sooooooooooooo incredably good, I think I'll make it for MTG tonight. Keep up the good work!

lol I checked out w4rped's decks and he has a heroic deck that he's asking for help on how to build but no solid deck. I really think it's silly for him to be criticising when he can't even build a solid deck of his own.
keep up the good work Mortem. don't listen to the haters!

YES!! I've been waiting for somebody to do a good Selesnya build in this format. Nice job. Do you think there is any room for High Sentinels of Arashin in this build?

Defiant Strike, Mortal's Ardor, and Warriors' Lesson would all be cool. : )

when w4rped says that Springleaf Drum and Jeskai Ascendancy cause problems, he means for himself right?

This looks solid.. Ive dabbled in this build myself, and i would say to up the count of reap what is sown. It is just too damn good not too. And i really like Tuskguard Captain he is definitely viable to your strat and cost levels.

Nice ideas. The deck has a few issues, but great to see good budget decks happening, it gets in more players which is a good thing for MtG.

I have played something similar at FNM and issues aside it is a good build. It ruins other decks that dont have answers for it. Biggest problems i had was MGD splash red and Jeskai combo.I crushed jeskai with it, My first go around i lost a 1.2 match against a sultai or rather bug control walker deck but beat him in the first match up the second FNM i took it to.

PS: Anyone with more money could replace the Blossoming Sands with Windswept Heath and replace something (ideas?) with Ajani, Mentor of Heroes and/or Ajani Steadfast. I'm loving these budget deck articles but it would be cool if you included a section "if you weren't on a budget..."

Played Selesnya int the RTR - Theros block, and felt bad about getting rid of it, this deck gives me hope to return to it. +1 from me.

Wow! This is great! And it gets out of range of Drown in Sorrow and Anger of the Gods fairly quickly. Bring in your extra Ajani's Presence to counter hard wipes like End Hostilities and heavy targeted removal, and you've got a MONSTER! +1, and I'm sorry I have only one to give. Helluva budget build here!!

Great deck, have been playing with it online for a few hours. Fun stuff. Any tips on what to sideboard, not on specific matchups but card for card wise, thanks.

Have you thought about adding black and making it Abzan?? Adding Cruel Sadist and Cruel Feeding would be great but I don't know what to take out for them. Bloodcrazed Hoplite could be cool as a sideboard too but not sure how often it would be relevant. Disowned Ancestor, Mer-Ek Nightblade, and especially Retribution of the Ancients could be relevant black cards from Khans!

Since we're posting inspiration decks in here: Bant Heroic
Seems you've busted open a flood gate here, Mortem. Good work. I'd love to see any of these variants run away with FNMs.
