First round was vs. RDW and lost 1-2. He drew into a mizzium mortors to kill my smiter fourth turn and i began drawing a land clump.
Second match was a penta color sliver deck and looked scary from double strike tokens. Those tokens lost to fleecemane lion with an ethereal armor and a5/5 wurm token.
Game three was against another g/w but was a budget build so my creatures were too strong.
Match four was against b/w and was poking me every turn with ghost council until I got a selesnya charm to exile it at 7 life. After that thune saved my butt big time.
Game five and top four was 2-1 against g/b and he was being a stickler about rules and trigger while I was calling my actions out correctly. He had bad draws first game and during that we both messed up and allowed my banisher priest to exile his sylvan caratid(face palm). He beat me the second game with desecration demon and lifebane zombie. The third match I survived by exiling desecration demon with a charm and lifegain like crazy with scavenging ooze and thune and swung for the win.
Top 2 match vs. W/R/B(0-2) and seemed too slow from bad draws. Second game he beat me with a boros reconer wall of 2 and spell killing my creatures. He did do me a favor and rackdos returned my loxodon smiter out of my hand and into play for free. Everyone watching was like" what just happened" but his spells killed off my creatures and he won again for first place.
Overall I am happy how this build has improved and played out, I am still on the hunt to get voice of resurgence without paying alot.
