Selesyna Tokens

My white/green Selesnya populate deck that I started when Return to Ravnica was in rotation. Since then converted to a modern deck. Tried to create a lot of synergy with the most powerful white/green token spells. Does really well against aggro decks, but has a hard time to flickering or bounce spells, which are white and blue. I have a sideboard that tries to work around that.

Creatures

CREATURES:

Noble Hierarch - turn 1 mana dork, plus exalted for a boost. Originally had Birds of Paradise, but I like NH more.

Call of the Conclave - the bread and butter of this deck. Most of the time on turn 2 this will be saying "hello."

Voice of Selesnya - punishment for players casting during MY turn. Plus, if destroyed, it leaves behind a threatening token.

1x Blade Splicer - great 3 drop.

Brimaz, King of Oreskos - awesome drop for turn 3, provides a solid body that is tough to remove for red, and creates tokens when attacking and blocking. Vigilance is the cherry on top. Only a one-of at the moment.

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice - my main squeeze. This lovely lady is a great body, helps with life gain, and populates! The complete package for this deck. Once she's out and able to populate, the game can run away, Especially with Parallel Lives out.

Wingmate Roc - flying is a big vulnerability with this deck, so I needed a powerful bird body with a token mechanic, hence why the Roc earned a spot. It can be tricky when I need to drop it and can't get the trigger off, hence of why its considered a "win-more" card, but its usually not too tough to have at least one creature out and attacking when casting it. Advent of the Wurm - SURPRISE! Love casting this 5/5 w/trample on turn 4 or 5. Oh, and he brings a 5/5 friend.

Tech

REMOVAL:

Selesnya Charm

Declaration in Stone

TECH:

Rancor

Intangible Virtue

Parallel Lives

Rootborn Defenses

Planeswalkers

WALKERS:

Garruk Relentless

Elspeth Tirel

Garruk, Primal Hunter

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar - decided to take out. The plant tokens are nice chump blockers, but I don't care much about the counters, especially with the number of flickering tricks and board wipes around.

GAMEPLAY:

Opening hand - Forest, Sunpetal Grove, Birds of Paradise, Call of the Conclave, Rancor,

T1: Forest, cast Noble Hierarch, pass

T2: Sunpetal Grove, cast Voice of Resurgence or Call of the Conclave, equip Rancor , pass

T3: Land, cast a three drop, swing w/ 6/3 w/trample (our 3/3 centaur token + exalted + rancor = 6/3)

T4: Land, cast Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, swing, pass

T5: Land, planeswalker or Armada Wurm , continue to wreck face and drop threats. Or, if on the ropes, cast cheap creatures to gain life with Trostani. Or populate with her ability. Save Rootborn Defenses for defense.

Updates Add

Went 2-2 June 28, 2013. Third at FNM Standard Constructed.

Biggest pains came from the likes of Tragic Slip, which took out my 8/8 Elemental that would have won me the match. Should have sideboarded in more rootborn defenses.

Took home an Izzet Charm promo.
