I'm trying to make a selesnya deck that can compete at most events I go to. After several iterations, this seems to be the best brew. The cards in the maybe board were all in the deck at some point over the past few months and just seemed to be lacking something.

Courser of Kruphix was a wicked card in longer games and really helped cycle through my deck but the deck felt like it needed to be aggro.

Precinct Captain was considered to interact with Spear of Heliod and try to make some obnoxious token board states. But then I remembered i wanted to win matches.

Brave the Elements over Gods Willing because again I wanted to win games

All mono green creatures were cut when [[brave the elements was added (except the wurm token but damn that's a good card)

I took this to a second place finish at the saturday game day, and a first place finish on the sunday game day. The only match i lost on sunday was a mirror match with some sick draws.

I'll add more details about specific cards. If you're questioning some of the side board cards it probably has to do with dragons and demons.

I swapped 1 spear of helliod with 1 Loxodon Smiter bringing the maind deck elephant total to 4. The first day i played with 3 spears in the main i loved it. only once did I have a dead spear in my hand. Since then it seems to be happening on the regular. I like having 4 smiters and a true curve from 1 to 4, with choices all along the way.

I'm debating dropping the spear from the board in favor of an additonal Revoke Existence or Celestial Flare or Plummet.

Any suggestions are welcome.
