I've never really used Selesnya, but I really liked green. Was the first color I ever built an EDH for. I tried building a mono-white EDH, but I didn't like it's speed, and its end game output.

I looked for a good general, found Captain Sisay, and this is what I came up with.

Simple stuff, try for ramping, keep Sisay safe, tutor for what you need. Dump everything you can onto the field. Control with cards like Iona and Gaddock Teeg. Avacyn and any Nuke spell pretty much ruins everyone's day.
