Sorcery (2)

This is a green and white aggro with a small amount of black destruction mixed in for good measure.

Your main spells will be your Silverblade Paladin and Ajani, Caller of the Pride for their double strike ability. Couple double strike with things like Rancor and Selesnya Charm and you will be dealing 10+ trample damage per turn.

Here is a breakdown of the spells for this deck:

  • Silverblade Paladin: 2/2 creature by herself, but when paired with another such as Loxodon Smiter or Wolfir Silverheart you will easily be attacking for over 10 per turn.

  • Ajani, Caller of the Pride: Just in case you don't have a paired Silverblade Paladin, this can be a nice game changer.

  • Loxodon Smiter: Just a really good card all around, guaranteed not to be countered or discarded, really cheap to cast 4/4 heavy hitter, especially when paired.

  • Wolfir Silverheart: A bit difficult to get on the field, but once you do he is extremely worth it and in most cases, game winning.

  • Entreat the Angels: Extreme game changer if you miracle late game.

  • Restoration Angel: Very useful utility for shifting one of your creatures who are about to die, also nice flash blocker.

  • Rancor: The buff, coupled with double strike, is just too powerful and you don't lose it when your opponent is playing bounce either. Just be sure to keep Rest in Peace off the table.

  • Selesnya Charm : Probably the best RtR charm in the set, I mostly use the +2/+2 trample buff on this but I have had the pleasure of popping a 5+ power creature as well.

  • Faith's Shield : I can't tell you how many times this one has saved me, it is like a counterspell! If your opponent pops an Oblivion Ring or Detention Sphere, give it pro-white or blue and their enchantment comes down with no effect. Definitely want a full playset of this, even if you only use it to make your creature unblockable for a turn.

  • Oblivion Ring: Nice all around removal. Especially fun when you target your opponents Detention Sphere and force them to return your exiled creature(s).

  • Abrupt Decay: An instant blow up anything 3 or less. Just too powerful not to splash black for.

  • Avacyn's Pilgrim: Simple mana ramp, white being the most prominent color of the deck.

  • Gavony Township: Twice as good with double strike, however, a little expensive to use all the time.

  • Vault of the Archangel: Sometimes it's nice to trade your Avacyn's Pilgrim for something large.

CONSIDERATIONS

  • Mutilate: Some people in my area have been doing the hexproof thing so I have considered using something like this as removal in case things get too out of hand.
