Okay, This deck does not run splinter twin, but it is designed around the idea of being able to combo early then sideboard into Abzan/Podless Pod. The strength of twin is its spells and burn, where this deck relies on having continuous board threats and gaining gradual amounts of life to stay out of burn range. It may also be worth noting that this deck combos at the same speed as twin even though the spells cost less. This is because twin can flash in creatures and the combo gives the creatures haste. This combo makes sure the creatures last longer, but are more susceptible to a wrath.
