Elves have always been one of my favorite tribes the entire time I've played MtG and I really enjoy EDH decks built around them. Only advice I can give really is
A) Include "Tribal" as one of the deck's hubs to allow more people to find it, and
B) Include some removal.
Otherwise, it's a very handsome deck. +1 from me.

Is there a reason you'd prefer to only use Modern-legal cards? You're missing out on a ton of the older elves like Wellwisher , Wirewood Channeler , Wirewood Herald , etc.
Replace Demystify with Naturalize or Krosan Grip . The flexibility to answer both artifacts and enchantments with the same card is important. You could also use Nature's Claim if you like having a 1-drop answer.
Cards I would consider:

also if you're going to use Naturalize you may as well use Disenchant instead of Demystify again, for versatility.... p.s. how about Heedless One and Alpha Status ?

Pili-Pala
with Presence of Gond
doubles your elf numbers for each creature or enchantment that gives you one mana for each elf. I always liked that combo.

Have you ever played with True Conviction ? Also you might consider Intangible Virtue and Trostani, Selesnya's Voice .

added both True Conviction and Intangible Virtue , Trostani is not really what I want right now.

Hey, love the deck, very similar to my elf deck which is golgari instead of selesnya build.
Have you considered Eldrazi Monument , its a beast in my deck b/c token / creature gen is so high.
+1 from a fellow elf fan!

Ooooooh good call. What should I drop for Eldrazi Monument , you think?
July 17, 2013 2:08 p.m.
not sure, all depends the route you want to go, my elves are a little more aggressive, yours is built more around token generation then using tokens as overrun.
a few cards in mine that would probably work with your deck:Wolf-Skull Shaman token genWellwisher Priest of Titania Elvish Vanguard Timberwatch Elf **this would be huge in your deckAdaptive Automaton Sylvan Messenger Wirewood Pride Descendants' Path Steely Resolve Door of Destinies Eldrazi Monument Coat of Arms

Since no-one else has mentioned it, Ambush Commander and Elvish Branchbender . Though the commander is a bit risky if you play against red, since all your forests could die.

I put Quirion Druid in my elf setup, specifically to discourage board wiping once the elves get going. But I run Rhys the Exiled , so I get bonus value with Attrition as LD...

So, we are in the midst of talking about elves and tokens... and nobody brings up Voice of the Woods ? Your plan is to have tons elves (token or other)... likely using doubling season and parallel lives, why not turn out a ton of 7/7 creatures as well (keep in mind this ability can be used as much as you have elves per turn)

Then you can use a card like Seedborn Muse to untap them all and do it again on EACH of your opponents turns
