Quickie

This deck began as an attempt at a Selesnya Mill deck with selvala at the helm. If you like playing with yourself, you may enjoy this deck. Lots of triggers, lots of card draw, and (potentially) lots of disappointed and bored opponents (if you play as slow as I do.)

Big Idea

The deck's primary goal is to parley as much as possible, although its probably not a very reliable mill deck it's still pretty fun to try and work out how to squeeze as much value as possible out of Selvala, Explorer Returned's ability each turn. If you're into infinite combos there are a few ways to generate infinite mana most of which require one of the two prized artifacts in the deck Umbral Mantle or Sword of the Paruns plus a good mana dork that can produce more than 4 mana. Additionally, there are a few ways to go infinite with Argothian Elder and Wirewood Lodge. If you can do one of these with one of the prized artifacts on board you can mill infinitely with the caveat of needing a way to recycle your library, the easiest means being Patrol Hound, Noose Constrictor plus a graveyard to library effect.

While building it, I decided to throw in a couple more ways to get rid of opponents with Aetherflux Reservoir, and a potential finisher with Finale of Devastation with x>10 tutoring (preferably)Odric, Master Tactician (as long as you have a few mana dorks on board to buff)

Sum Up

The more opponents the more likely you'll be able to get milling. If nothing else this deck is a fun little group hug deck that draws you and your opponents tons of cards.

Self-Diagnosed Problems

If people aren't enjoying my fun, Selvala could be a big target, so the protection in this deck could definitely use improvement, however, I'm not quite sure how to tackle it yet. Additionally, the deck has very little (no) removal, which could also pose a pretty big problem, especially if you get a slow start. The last problem I've encountered is sometimes I'll stall out with tons of floating mana (from parley) still available. I would like to find other mana sinks outside of Selesnya Guildmage and the prized equipment that fit the themes of the deck or provide card draw.
