Also add an Ancient Tomb if you want fast lands. You only need 1 life to win after all.

wagnerr2, thank you for the comments. Your continued following is very much appreciated :)
if I add those other lands I will be making room for Crucible of Worlds to make up for the sacrificed lands.
Isochron Sceptor at this point could get all but 4 instants. So it will either counter, tutor, or Unsummon. All of which is acceptable to me.
Necropotence is the only real choice right now until I figure out what else to drop.

You are more than welcome man :) Since you run a bunch of bounce cards already have you considered Gilded Drake? it can shut down decks that depend on their generals to win like animar, soul of elements and Zur the Enchanter. It is also broken with scepter and Unsummon effects.

wagnerr2, I am now. Thanks so much! Please let me know if there is a deck you would like me to look at and/or +1! It is the least I can do to repay your invaluable assistance.

I would definitely like your perspective on my mono green elfball combo deck "Bring out the Gimp". I know it needs a Gaea's Cradle but I am somewhat stuck on how else to speed it up.
April 7, 2016 10:57 p.m.
recent updated in commander/edh rules allow you to generate colors outside of your general's color identity (i.e. if you play an opponent's land, it produces it's color now, so you can now play their color spells). Also, things like Darksteel Ingot, and the Vivid lands can produce green or red.
April 8, 2016 6:23 p.m.
fragmento, thank you for commenting. I assume you are saying that because somewhere in that long ass description of mine I say that I can only produce esper colors, correct? I'm actually fully aware of the rule change and what came with it. I really only update the combos and any cards mentioned in the deck description.

I am curious if people think that Serra's Sanctum and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur would be of any help to the deck. I made some trades with a friend and would love to hear people's thoughts on it. Sanctum would replace a Plains and Jin might replace a creature, but I don't know what.

trinitok I don't think you run enough enchantments to be running Serra's Sanctum in this deck. However, I have a few ideas for cards that could be potential for repacement:
Stony Silence - I know it shuts down a lot of decks but it will shut yours off far worse than you think. 20% of your deck is artifact based.
Vapor Snag- Unless it's a combo piece that I don't see, I think you can manage without it. I'd replace it with Swords to Plowshares to avoid them recasting creatures with ETB effects.
Tranquil Cove- Could be replace with Prairie Stream.
Cards to consider:Enchanted Evening + Opalescence and/or Aura Thief (my treat)
Copy Artifact (revised edition) - would go great with this deckand maybe Copy Enchantment
Just some suggestions. Hope you find this helpful.

jettskawhirl, thank you for taking the time to look at and comment on the deck.
Sanctum can usually tap for 3-4 depending on what comes out and how long games last because of various disruption by other people. Seeing as majority of the deck is around that for cmc, and involves some amount of colorless mana, it works just fine. I would prefer Tolarian Academy, but that's both above my price range and banned last time I checked. Hanging in there for Mishra's Workshop though!
You're right about Stony Silence. It completely goes against this deck. That's also what everyone else thinks when it hits the table. However, then I play the rest of the combo and people just call me a dick after that. It's great. I find it hilarious. It is also one of the combos that makes my deck unique to others. Now before you ask "Yeah, but how often does it work?" The answer is: more often than you would think. People just never expect it!
Vapor Snag the only reason this is still here is because it actually won me a game. True story. We were both down to 1 life, he had 3 creatures come out on his turn and I had nothing. I drew this card, passed turn, but did not forfeit. He thought I had Cyclonic Rift or some board wipe. He goes to swing, then SURPRISE! I return a creature to his hand and deal that last 1 point of damage needed to win. It was an extremely satisfying feeling. The adrenaline rush was truly amazing. Because of this, I am going to keep Vapor Snag for now. I do agree though, it could be replaced with far better cards. Once (if) I get Mana Drain, then I will get rid of Vapor Snag.
Tranquil Cove I am saving money for the original duel lands that are a few hundred bucks and then replacing jank lands like this with those. Either that or something like City of Brass of Mana Confluence (the pretty full art expensive one) Again, you are correct. This card does not belong in this deck.
The problem with the combo that you mentioned, Aura Thief + Enchanted Evening + Opalescence is that it is to expensive and cannot be summoned out using Zur or some of my other core tutors as easily. The Darksteel Reactor + Mycosynth Lattice + Stony Silence is a little cheaper AND would be the last thing my opponents expect in this kind of a deck. Play Mycosynth Lattice? Yeah sure. It helps everyone. It helps me a bit more, but everyone likes being able to spend their mana as whatever they want so it is usually let through. I play Darksteel Reactor and people don't care about that because it takes 20 turns. Games will (hopefully) be over by then. Then surprise everyone with Stony Silence and just watch everyone be super confused, followed by being super pissed.
I was thinking of putting in Top and taking out some draw spell of mine. But I want to wait a couple paychecks before doing that hahaha. Don't worry, it's on the (long) list of things to get.
Copy Artifact isn't a bad idea. Having a 2nd Mox Opal or Thopter Foundry isn't a bad idea. Problem is, if someone says "Surprise Boardwipe!" it usually includes artifact destruction. So I need a way other than Academy Ruins to get everything back from the grave, but I just need to figure out a cheaper way to do it that isn't a creature and isn't a lot of mana.
Thank you again for the comment and suggestions. I very much appreciate all the time you spent looking at the deck.

trinitok Fair enough. Well you could just use Aura Thief and Enchanted Evening and find somevway to sac or kill Aura Thief. It's not badly expensive and can be done in one turn if necessary. You're welcome!
April 12, 2016 8:45 a.m.
jettskawhirl, I am not saying that's a bad idea, but my deck just does not roll that way right now. It faces the same problem with Academy Rector. It's a good idea, but I can't get rid of Academy Rector. So I am looking to replace rector right now because of this (probably gonna go with something like Open the Vaults). I have a lot of cards that could be used to make a stax strategy (or at the very least, a sac engine), but that's just not the way the deck currently rolls. I will definitely keep it in mind for the future though!
Thank you again for the comment!

Really like this deck! Might make the Zur deck I currently have into a Sen Triplets deck someday.
April 16, 2016 6:50 p.m.
SyrJet, let me know if you would like help with your deck. I love everything about the Sen Triplets. So if there's anything I can do to help, card suggestions, play style, strategy, whatever it is you let me know, dude.
April 16, 2016 10:26 p.m.
trinitok, thanks so much! Still not quite sure which commander I should choose, but I guess I'll make a Sen Triplets list and see if I need suggestions.
April 17, 2016 9:56 p.m.
Geez, I don't know what I could improve with this if I had an opportunity, it's so good! Curse you, EDH deck advertising thread. On second thought, I realize you aren't running Vindicate or Sphinx's Revelation. Have you considered those? If I were you, I 'd replace spell pierce for one of the two, but I don't know your meta. Also, how has Vapor chain worked for you?
May 15, 2016 5:27 p.m. Edited.
Kala, thanks for the comment. It actually could be better if I did replace triplets with Zur and then moved some other cards around. I just like triplets to much. Alternatively, I could take out some of the more janky and less used synergy/combos, but they do have a lot of use in certain situations.
I have not really considered Sphinx's Revelation. I have moved away from a lot of x cost cards because this deck should not be blowing all its mana on one card/turn. It needs to save for other priorities like disruption or combos.
I would run the new version of Vindicate that just came out. It exiles instead of destroy. I know that majority of things aren't indestructible, but enough people run gods now or something like Blightsteel Colossus as an alternate win condition. Then you also have decks that LOVE graveyard shenanigans. 3 life for exiling a permanent is definitely worth it in EDH.
My meta is all over the place, hahaha! There's a guy who constantly keeps making new tier 1-2 decks. My deck isn't as good as his because I can't keep up with its pace and I have a couple cards in here I really don't want to give up. It does hold up fairly well in most situations though! Yesterday I got Blightsteel Colossus out on turn 5 twice. It was awesome. Felt super good. Fell apart once because I killed myself using Lim-Dul's Vault, but otherwise it can hold its own decently enough.
May 15, 2016 5:54 p.m.
Wow, that sounds sweet! I run sen triplets too, but I run a superfriends style build. You just reminded me to add my anguished unmaking, thanks. What non-combo win conditions do you favor for the Triplets?
Here's my list for reference. I can literally play your lands..
May 15, 2016 6:01 p.m.
Kala, Blightsteel Colossus is the only one I currently have. I guess I could technically win through commander damage or beating down with some of my other creatures, but I doubt that will ever happen with my deck.
I have been seeing more Sen Triplets super friends decks. Same with stax. Super friends looks like a lot of fun. It is interesting how many ways you can build with the Sen Triplets because their ability does not mean you have to have a certain strict build like other generals in order to make them good.

Hey bud long time no speak. Its (wagnerr2) btw. I definitely agree with getting rid of paradox haze, but arcum needs a lot of artifact creatures support to be good. Zur gets you you so many value cards that dropping him for Arcum would be a poor decision In my opinion.

Btw ad nauseum is insane with Platinum Emperion and can easily be cheated into play with Master Transmuter
May 24, 2016 12:24 p.m. Edited.
Lilbrudder, I was wondering why I hadn't seen your face around more often. Good to hear from you. How you been, dude? Yeah, I was really unsure about Arcum. Might just go with Transmute Artifact instead. Alternatively, might also just keep Zur. He isn't bad, but I want combos out faster.
Platinum Emperion isn't a bad card, but that might bring my cost up a bit. I could just find room for another board wipe. I know that is also something I am extremely lacking.
Thank you again for the comment! It really means a lot that you continue to support the deck!

I am well. Thanks for asking. Yeah Transmute Artifact is a solid tutor that seems like a better fit for what your looking for than Arcum.

Those land cards would be ok in The Gitrog Monster but not in your deck. It makes it far too easy for your opponent to 2 or 3 for 1 you. I am a big fan of Isochron Scepter but it is a definite build around me card. Any game you draw into it and only have an instant in your hand above 2 cc you will be pissed. However there are more than enough great instants to choose from that you wont miss your expensive instants. Definitely drop mindslaver. It is only consistently good in Glissa, the Traitor and Daretti, Scrap Savant. Also add Necropotence. The only reason not to add it is if you are playing reanimator with discard outlets.
