This is a mono green elf deck that plays with primal surge as the main strategy. That's why you can't see any other instants or sorceries in order to don't interrupt the effect and be able to put onto the battlefield as many cards as you can. Nevertheless, even if you are not able to play primal surge quickly, additionally to produce a massive quantity of mana, the elves, are also able to show a huge power by themselves, offering a range of other strategies. Slate of Ancestry is another important card which help you moving forward quickly when you need. Wirewood Lodge in addition to give more mana, it can play as copy of abilities you would need during the game (like life or mana).
