Why mutagenic growth and not Titans strength?

Because growth is zero mana.

I managed to beat Anti-Meta Esper today with Burn. SOOOOO good.

I play tested this once and got a turn 3 kill!
Combo1- Wooded Foothills to search for a Sacred Foundry. Play Goblin Guide, swing for 22- Bloodstained Mire and search for a Mountain and play a Monastery Swiftspear and Lightning Bolt, swing with guide and swiftspear for 4 damage plus the 3 from the bolt for 7, putting them at 113- mountain, Goblin Guide (on draw) and Monastery Swiftspear, and swing for 6, but wait! Play the Boros Charm for 4 damage to the face and you get 8 damage because of the prowess triggers and the extra 4 from the charm wins you the game! Pretty good! +1 from me!

Ever considered using Browbeat as replacement for Treasure Cruise? I am playing a similar build but I have 4 Manamorphose, 2 Faithless Looting and 2 Browbeat to help in drawing additional cards, fixing my hand in case I lack the spell/lands I need, fix mana issues in case I don't have the necessary shock lands, and to pump up my Monastery Swiftspear. I managed to finish 3-4 in the last GPT I attended with this build.

crpalermoAll of those cards are 50 times worse than any card currently in the deck. Plus, 3-4 while at a GPT is fairly decent does not mean your deck is better to look at than decks from PT top 8s and other big events top 8s which do not run those cards, for good reason.

Why Dragon's Claw instead of Kor Firewalker? The mana cost?

I'm actually not a fan of splashing black or playing Mutagenic Growth right now. We want to be tuning to beat Abzan and the mirror, making Lightning Helix a necessity in the maindeck alongside a playset of Skullcrack. Mutagenic Growth is an awful topdeck against Abzan, and I think we want Shard Volley in that slot. 4 Skullcrack in the 75 is mandatory because of all the Rhinos running around and all the sideboarded lifegain.

Not to mention, cutting the black lets you actually cast Firewalker.

The problem is there is no abzan at my shop, and change the deck whenever I go anywhere else, I will try to add 2 helix another skullcrack and 2 shard volley

I tend to beat Abzan with this current build as it's just faster than them.

how does Crackling Doom work for you?

ceji3 I do not have them in real life currently, but it has been the creature equivalent of Molten Rain in trice testing.
