Burn doesn't care about getting the lands out of your deck, they just want to set your mana development back. Getting to 3 mana is pretty easy, while getting to 4 is a bit harder. Blood Moon shuts off enough cards in the deck where I wouldn't be playing it.

I'm not sure how I feel about these 5 colors. Part of the draw of playing burn historically is to just play only basics. Splashing is one thing but to splash every color in the game I think is too much.

zyphermage Playtest it, you never get mana-screwed, and the cards that are splashed for are fantastic!

No room for Lightning Helix? You certainly have enough life-loss to justify running 2-3x of them. Between 7 shock lands, 8 fetch lands, and 4 Eidolon of the Great Revel you are going to be cutting it close on your life total if they are putting on any sort of aggression what so ever. 2-3x Lightning Helix could save your butt in many games. I'd say that in this deck, it's going to be a much more efficient than Searing Blaze at the same CMC. Also, i'd say the full 4x Treasure Cruise is almost necessary in the current meta. Burn got a huge speed boost by adding blue, take advantage of it while you can.

You really need four Treasure Cruise. I'm not a fan of Bump in the Night, as the extra color just for that card is not really worth it.

GlistenerAgent as a career burn deck pilot, I must say that Bump in the Night may be one of my favorite spells in the deck. First of all it's black so it's not affected by Dragon's Claw or Kor Firewalker, which is really nice post board. Also, against control decks, it can be brought back very late game, often with your opponent forgetting it's there. I've won a handful of matches just by casting and flashbacking a Bump on the same turn when flooded late game. The life loss vs. damage rarely does anything, however if it ever matters it can't be prevented because it's not damage. However it can't hit planeswalkers, which may or may not matter. Usually doesn't because you never want to waste burn on walkers

Needs Satyr Firedancer over Searing Blaze. Otherwise, looks good.

Penthoplayer Nope, that does not make sense.
OpenFire No there is not.

Sypl It fuctions as a Searing Spear as I don't care about my life total unless in a aggro mirror which is what the sideboard is for. Thanks!

What are your thoughts on Soulfire Grand Master? I see potential for him in the sideboard or in the main for added reach when you flood out.

GlistenerAgent I am trying to trade for two for the side over Dragon's Claw. I will most likely test it main, but Grim Lavamancer does the same thing better. (For the second ability)

YamishiTheWickedOne I'll test it but two white can be hard to get.

I saw that you removed your Vexing Devils. I just removed mine and am already feeling empty. any way you would put them back in at any time?

agent is on the money it gives your opponant a choice. You draw it needing to do 3 damage, any other card in the deck is better.

Vexing Devil felt great for a while. Now, it just feels like it eats a bolt every other time I play it. And I've recently come to realize that Lightning Helix isn't a bad card, but in burn too many 2 CMC cards is going to clog horribly, so somethin's gotta give.

Your opponent will let it stay in play if they can kill it. They will take at most four damage from the card, which is why you would probably rather have another creature (you can expect 4-6 damage from them).

I more or less dropped my devils in favor of swiftspears for that exact reason. Devil puts in work sometimes, but swiftspear and goblin guide ultimately do a lot more.

You lost the Treasure Cruise. What did playtesting it do for you and what are you preferring in its place?

I think Eidolon is a great card, super great in fact, but I dont think its that great in a deck where every spell you cast triggers him. You are running a classic '7 cards for 20(1) damage' deck, and that seems sketchy with Eidolon of Battles. But if youve playtested it out enough thouroughly, I guess there not much can be said against real world testing.

Sowing Salt might be better than Molten Rain, or maybe even Blood Moon unless that shuts you down too much.
