Although this may sound very odd, I would suggest replacing the Kor Firewalkers with 2 Dragon's Claws and 1 Timely Reinforcements, the reason for this being that if you want to get a turn two Kor Firewalker, you are always going to have to fetch up two Sacred Foundrys, which will put you to 15, unless you want to give up alot of early game velocity, is contingent upon you having two fetchlands in your hand, and likely locks you out of green mana.

They can't kill firewalker though. If timely works I already lost, and dragon's claw is blown up far too easily.

You should hop on the bandwagon and try out Wild Nacatl in here. I was playing tonight and it was amazing. Having 16 good creatures for Atarka's Command was really good. It's also bigger than any other creatures in the mirror meaning they have to waste a burn spell on it. And having a bit more green is really good against opposing Kor Firewalkers. It's really quick to beat down with and I'd highly recommend it after my 4-0 with it tonight.
If you're hesitant, at least try it out. Proxy a few or pick up a play set. They proved to be a very efficient creature in burn.

I tested it and it was horrible. I used it for around 2 months.

A lot of people are starting to use it now if you check some recent tournaments. If you don't like it though, up to you. Why weren't you liking it?

All the matchups I tested it generally would swing once-twice before they would kill it or have a big enough blocker. It just also felt clunky.

I like Dragon's Claws in the sideboard over Kor Firewalker

baseballguy Oftentimes destructive revelry is side-boarded in against me to deal with eidolon. This of course can also destroy dragon's claw. Also the pro-red on firewalker is insanely helpful in the mirror, and it often comes down to who can get out a firewalker faster.

Ensnaring Bridge is what I've been thinking. Better than land destruction cause by the time is comes online they already have a bunch of threats. Bridge can get dropped sooner and actually does something since they already likely have a swamped board.
Bridge is also good against boggles and some other decks that like to go big. Bigger than 1 or 2 at least :P
I have a feeling the eldrazi deck won't be a long standing issue. I think Eye of Ugin might be getting the ban hammer it it stays as good as it is right now for the next few months.

This needs to remove the Twin/delver cards anyways. Rending Volley and Volcanic Fallout should go. I think Pyroclasm would be better too. Deflecting Palm I don't see the point of too much either.
February 16, 2016 4:19 a.m. Edited.
Deflecting Palm is good against Bogles, Burn, Junk, Death's Shadow, Instant Reanimater, Infect, and sometimes even Tron and affinity.
It's more versitile than it seems, if you ask me.
February 16, 2016 7:39 a.m.
Deflecting Palm is stupid good. Even only preventing 3 or 4 damage turns it into a Lightning Helix.
Kjartan- it's also a function counterpsell against burn, I bring it in in that matchup too.
(Also, this only happened once to me, but I was playing against bloom before it got banned, and I had a Deflecting Palm and Boros Charm in hand and they had a Titan on the battlefield... I think that was the only time I used something other than 4 to the face on Boros Charm...)

Oh, never mind, you already mentioned the burn matchup.

Just curious for the use of Arid Mesa over Cinder Glade?
March 11, 2016 4:41 p.m.
steggy Arid Mesa can fetch for either Sacred Foundry or Stomping Ground, wich can be used to cast a Boros Charm or Destructive Revelry for example in response to something. Cinder Glade is actually pretty bad in this deck (and actually didn't see it in any Modern competitive deck)

sorry relatively new to game... so you would leave the arid mesa out until you are attacked. Crack the fetch on oppononents turn then pay the instants? I guess I didnt realize land could be tapped like that on oppononents step but definitely understand the benefit of doing so.
Thanks lil_cheez
