Ash Zealot and Hellspark Elemental don't synergize. That might be a problem is all you have to play are those cards and need a board presence.

Yes I understand that which is why I want to remove Ash Zealot and would like to know what people think of my plan to bring in the cards that are in the maybeboard.

After watching the Pro Tour, Blood Moon might be able to slow opponents down and give you a few extra turns to burn them out.

Ash Zealot and Hellspark Elemental have no interaction. Unearth is an ability, not flashback. They should be fine together.
I am trying out Postmortem Lunge
in my next deck, and it seems like it would be great for you as well.
Here is mine, I'd love your feedback. Hasty Modern Theories

2 Lavamancer and 2 of something else would be good.

GSamuelnh I am gonna put it in the side.
LtMiller117 If only it could target players, I don't care about most creatures at all, but htank you.
shaistyone I'm not so sure about Postmortem Lunge as based on the low power of my creatures i'm better off just burning them or playing a new creature. I will totally check out your deck.
Please +1

What do people think about Grim Lavamancer , I like him, but I hate how he does nothing the turn that you play him.

Grim Lavamancer is very strong. He's your way of pumping out extra damage in late game when you run out of cards.

steve21 What should I remove? I want to put in two-three of them.

You need Dark Confidant in here for the card advantage. I'd run him over Ash Zealot . Searing Blaze is a great card and there should be 4 of them in here. It's partially just be but I hate Vexing Devil and think Grim Lavamancer would be a much better 1 drop to make use of all of your burn spells late game. Other than that looks good! +1!

@InconspicuousPotato Unfortunately, Dark Confidant is just a tad to expensive for my to purchase, I will buy some Searing Blaze and Skullcrack for the Keldon Marauders and Ash Zealot s. Thank you for the comment and the +1

Guttersnipe , Arid Mesa , Scalding Tarn , maybe even Grim Lavamancer

Didgeridooda Would Guttersnipe really be all that good? I will try to trade for the fetches and can't decide on Grim Lavamancer

Then there is that new saytr guy. He is good.
Grim Lavamancer is good with the fetches. Without he is decent, but not as good. The fetches feed him, better your draws, and help fix your land a little bit. Dreadbore would not be a terrible 2 of in your board either.
I am just not a fan of Vexing Devil .

Well I think that Satyr Firedancer might be good sideboard, thank you.

Didgeridooda says... #18
Yeah that guy. Satyr Firedancer has a really good casting cost. He might be main board worthy, but you would have to just playtest it to figure out. Personally I would main board him, and sideboard the Ash Zealot

Lightning Axe is a really bad finisher. It only hits creatures.

I agree that Dreadbore (if not, then Terminate ) is great card for R/B builds..
Also, since you're running Black; have you ever considered running Phyrexian Arena as maybe a 1 or 2 of? As it essentially fixes the age-old problem of RDW: running out of cards..

RedSoxFanKy if it was player, that card would be so broken. It would be awesome.

If you want red card advantage, Chandra, Pyromaster , or even Sarkhan the Mad are great, the latter also turning your small creatures into dragons.

This deck sucks and will continue to suck until you get playsets of Arid Mesa And Scalding Tarn . Look at this deck for what a deck SHOULD be. Also, run a playset of these.
Also, thank you for the mention in your description levi, it means a lot.

@enon_joesph If Browbeat was instant it would be in here but drawing cards at sorcery speed is not what I want.
