The intent of this deck is to use Sevinne as a pin-cushion and redirect to him damage from our creatures and ourselves. The en-Kor family ( Shaman en-Kor et al) make this easy, and we can also equip Sevinne, the Chronoclasm with Pariah .

Working with the en-Kor enables several paths to enable an Inside Out + Tireless Tribe -like combo. The en-Kor's ability is free to activate and can be done any number of times regardless of the existence of any damage to redirect. I played a Type II deck way back in the Tempest block-era using the en-Kor with Angelic Protector as a sink for any damage. Other enables are Task Force and Daru Spiritualist . All three of these creatures can be turned into 'arbitrarily-large' attackers using one of About Face , Inside Out , Invert / Invent , or Twisted Image . I've seen similar decks play this route with Doran, the Siege Tower or similar but obviously those aren't the colors I'm working with here.

I'm also loading this deck up with as many Jeskai combos as I can: Crackdown Construct + Wandering Fumarole (Construct also enables the en-Kor 'arbitrarily-large' combo). Saheeli + Felidar Guardian did not make the cut for the final decklist.

As far as deck building philosophy, I'd like to keep the color balance as even as possible. White is providing a lot of the creature enablers, red will give access to damage-based sweepers, and blue will give card draw and counter-magic to protect the combo pieces.
