The new one...

I was thinking of putting her in. I think I will drop 2 Qarsi Sadist for it. Thanks!

2 Empty is honestly fine mainboard, it gives me a better chance to draw and gives me something to self mill if i dont need. My best shot i got was 14 zombies on turn 10, but i reliably get a good number of zombies cause my yard is always healthy.

I gave it a try, but it seems to be slow to get rolling and relying on a lot of average cards to carry to a win in a metagame with a lot of power cards.

Perhaps the deck needs to refocus into a blue-black control deck. I've seen Mirror Mockery be a great combo for a deck with select exploit creatures and enough ways to remove or neutralize blockers. Thassa, God of the Sea is solid at making a mockery'd Sidisi's Faithful or Merciless Executioner into a big control engine. Adding in Master of Waves gives a blue devotion angle that's brought home the bacon in the past.

I like the idea of mockery a lot actually. I took it to FNM last night and pulled 2-2. i will explain in an update today. I don't want to turn this deck into a control. I like the idea of mixing manipulation and beat down here. When I put the update up I would like to hear from you again please!

I really like this deck. I'd build it If i thought I could get some decent mileage out of it pre-rotation. +1 for creativity. Good Luck!

May 31, 2015 10:14 a.m.

Fantastic_Mr_King the only cards that are leaving from this deck at rotation are the temples and Dictate of Erebos that i will swap for Ruthless Deathfang.

Then I'm definitely going to build this deck post rotation. Or at least try it out. I love gimmicky decks with competitive potential.

Right that was the intention! Thanks!

I'm not sure how it would work, but if you're filling up your graveyard with exploited creatures, maybe you should try Gurmag Angler or Tasigur, the Golden Fang. Also, if Satyr Wayfinder isn't worth it to you, perhaps Commune with the Gods will sway your opinion.

i don't want to use delvers, both my wincons, Grave Strength and Empty the Pits need the entirety of my yard to really explode. Green is slowly but surely becoming more tempting though...

Even if you don't want to use delvers, I'd definitely make in BUG. The graveyard filers in green right now are very useful.

Black Cat seems like an awesome guy to exploit.

I'd take out the jeskai sage's as they seem a tad out of place and try bloodsoaked champions. 1 drop 2/1 and you may pay 1 and a black to return it if you attacked that turn. This way you can exploit it or mill it and still get the creature back as it;s not regeneration

June 15, 2015 7:58 p.m.

Jeskai Sage is another version of Palace Familiar for on death card draw. Bloodsoaked is a good idea though. i will try to find a slot for it.

dude u need ainok tracker

June 15, 2015 8:57 p.m.

Ainok Tracker, fuck yeah, and the two definitely make a fearsome duo on board together, honestly that sidisi puts in a lot of work and makes a lot of effortless exploit bait. Tasigur is honestly just really good at being an early game threat.

Yeah, I thought so. They're very impressive cards. Have you considered Sidisi, Undead Vizier? She's a great toolbox card that also fits your theme. Imagine casting her and searching for Tasigur, the Golden Fang and then casting him for one black...

Also Ainok Tracker is a MUST in any deck in any format.

June 15, 2015 9:13 p.m.

I considered her, however I feel dictate is a better 5 spot plus I feel like at that point I have too many chiefs and not enough indians...
