This is my Orzhov Midrange submission to the Singleton Guild Ravnica Plane Constructed Deck Tournament. The deck plays efficient threats with lots of removal and emphasis on card advantage and incremental life gain. It has a fairly low curve, electing to play cheap creatures like Shrieking Grotesque and Plagued Rusalka instead of bigger cards like Angel of Despair. This helps facilitate Dark Confidant and keep the gameplan focused. The deck also has a sacrifice theme, with Teysa, Orzhov Scion and similar cards generating value. This also improves the Haunt cards, Seize the Soul and Orzhov Pontiff, as well as Ghost Council of Orzhova , which is a very powerful card.+1 Upvote
