This deck grew out of a long series of Dimir decks. It is designed as a versatile Control deck that combos unblockable, cipher, and heroic; then uses counters and defenders for defence. Early game set up requires an Invisible Stalker or Tormented Soul on the field by turn two and Hidden Strings ciphered on to one of them by turn three. This allows me to manipulate the field in a number of ways: 1. Untap land. 2. Untap Attackers. 3. (Un)Tap Heroic creatures to set off abilities. 4. (Un)Tap Opponent's land or creatures. 5. Untap creatures in order to detain them with Hands of Binding.

The heroic creatures I have planned for this deck so far are: Tormented Hero for stealing health, Wavecrash Triton for detaining creatures, Agent of the Fates for murdering creatures, Triton Fortune Hunter for drawing cards.

Ideal early set up with this deck would be: Turn 1: Tormented Soul Turn 2: Hidden Strings, untap for Invisible Stalker, cipher then attack, untap for another Hidden Strings, cipher to Invisible Stalker, untap land to use counters Turn 3: play 1-4 heroic creatures Turn 4 and on: Control to victory.
