Also, Divine Visitation would combo well with your other enchantments.

I have considered the butcher, several times actually. The problem I run into with him is that the angels already take care of vigilance and lifelink, and the commanders ability makes haste only relevant someone the time. He's a got a lot to boast for a modest 4 mana, but since the deck is designed to avoid paying mana costs for demon and angels, I opted for some stronger candidates with higher CMCs. He fits with this build quite well, but compared to everything else, he'd only be a disappointment draw.

Fair enough. You obviously put more thought into it than I did. Great deck man.

Its true I have put a lot of thought into this deck, but your comments are no less appreciated! If fact, discussing with you why he wasn't included made me reconsider a few other cards that I may not have approached the same way.
Resplendent Angel is great for popping out angel tokens, but is heavily reliant on either Lyra Dawnbringer or its own unacceptably expensive ability in order to be of any use at all. It's a great card for three mana, but cutting mana costs is not what we're after here.
I think I'll have to replace Resplendent Angel and Demon of Death's Gate with Gisela, the Broken Blade and Bruna, the Fading Light so I can slam down a Brisela, Voice of Nightmares to cause trouble and fill my life back up while I use Razaketh, the Foulblooded to fill up my hand with enchantments, artifacts, and even more creatures for my commander to spit out! What do you think?

I like it. A lot. You know what might be nice, is Whip of Erebos. I would definitely add Vault of the Archangel and Westvale Abbey Flip though.

I ended up opting for Whisper, Blood Liturgist and Avacyn, Angel of Hope rather than Whip of Erebos, but I'll admit it was ultimately a thematic descision; they just seemed to be a better fit with the other cards I was working with: Whisper with Athreos, and Avacyn with Kaalia.
As far as the lands go, I am a little nervous about having lands that don't tap for black mana, simply because the cards I'll be casting from my hand are pretty limited to 4 artifacts, 6 enchantments, and 38 Shadowborn Apostles. Because of this, getting a land early on that does not tap for black mana can drastically reduce the speed at which I play and sac Apostles.
Buuuuuut I'll admit that both of these look far more promising than the Opal Palace I've got now, so I'm definitely making a change! Westvale Abbey Flip doesn't really have anything for me, as I've already got plenty of clerics and at a much more comfortable cost, and the Demon it transforms into is powerful, but otherwise boring. Vault of the Archangel, however, needs to be in my deck immediately! Being able to extend lifelink to my non-angel creatures and introduce deathtouch to my already crippling battlefield presence is just too good to pass up! #AddingItNow

I like the deck however Illusionist's Bracers only works for activated abilities. Kaalia has a triggered ability and so the bracers do nothing for her. It still works for Whisper, the apostles, Razaketh, and steel hellkite.

Thanks for letting me know! After looking back at it, it seems super obvious now, but I appreciate you calling attention to it before I had to find out the hard way!

Very nice. Pricey but I love it. I especially like the athreos/apostle combo. Have you considered Butcher of the Horde?
