Shadowborn Apostle into Strionic Resonator and then into Dark Prophecy or Xathrid Necromancer leads to some pretty good early game devotion. Turn 4 usually consists of tapping Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for 5, leaving 2 unused for either a Purphoros, God of the Forge, Erebos, God of the Dead, or a Desecration Demon with Dying Wish attached right after. Turn 5 should have enough devotion to drop a Abhorrent Overlord for 6+ tokens, causing 12 damage from Purphoros, God of the Forge.If you have 2 mana to use Strionic Resonator on the Abhorrent Overlord, then you've just dealt 24 damage.

Not sure if it could be really competitive or not, but it was something I was trying to cook up primarily using Abhorrent Overlord and Purphoros, God of the Forge.

I am accepting any and all feedback as I am still trying to figure out whether or not to use the 8 apostles or incorporate Agent of the Fates in some way.
