In the late 70's Wonderbread released a groundbreaking new product: the Shake n' Bake, a delicious mix of nasty spices and stale breadcrumbs. You would drop your raw chicken in with the mix, shake, and then, surprise, surprise, you would bake it. This deck mixes the nasty spices of shake n' bake with the stale breadcrumbs of mtg to bring you the tastyest combo deck you'll ever play.
Deck Rundown:
Step one: Shake
Blistercoil Weird
(The Chicken) with Paradise Mantle (Stale Breadcrumbs).
Step two: Bake the opponent in the Grapeshot (It's pretty much an oven, right?). If you really want to, I suppose you could cook the
Blistercoil Weird
Alongside your opponent if the Grapeshot is hot enough, but besides giving you a tasty (cardboard flavored) meal this will yield little benefit, and bring a possible stomach ache.
If you like this recipe, don't forget to +1 and leave a comment below about why this delicious meal deserves 5/5 stars.
Actual Deck Rundown:
Turn 1: Island,
Blistercoil Weird
, Paradise Mantle
Turn 2: Equip Paradise Mantle to
Blistercoil Weird
. Tap Blistercoil Weird, play a spell like Serum Visions. Notice that the
Blistercoil Weird
got +1/+1 and untapped, and you just drew, lets say,
Cerulean Wisps
. Continue casting cantrips and untapping until you can swing in for lethal with the
Blistercoil Weird
and
Aphotic Wisps
or simply cast a souped up Grapeshot.
Side in the entire SB to convert the deck into U/R Delver, taking combo dependent cantrips like
Ideas Unbound
and Visions of Beyond. Do this if your opponent has a lot of cheap removal so that you can fight into the mid game if your combo flops.
