This deck has evolved. There have been 4 different commanders all of which are in the deck. I started off with Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist and I loved her. She was fantastic for my swarm of tokens!

Then, Captain Sisay took the helm. She made the deck competitive. My friends hated me. So I turned to Sigarda, Host of Herons and transformed the deck into a true human/angel tribal deck. The Innistrad theme combined with angels made this deck potent. I was at long last happy with my general.

Then, Shalai was spoiled. She does everything Sigarda does... but better. Except for make tokens which is inconsequential. Now my Angels have hexproof too! How insane! So here is my finally evolved, Shalai, voice of Plenty human/angel tribal deck.

Shalai can come in early game and really cause little impact. Its only in the late game when its too late and you have so much mana that your opponents cower in fear. As with many GW decks, there are unbounded mana combos which we can take advantage of.

The main one is the Captain Sisay/ Paradox Engine combo. With a few mana rocks (we run 10) we need never touch our lands for mana. Sisay can tutor, cast, untap repeat. Once we have unbounded mana, we can use Shalai to make our creatures infinitely large, shoot everybody with Walking Ballista or play our deck with Genesis Wave.

Avacyn gives our board indestructible. And I dont need to mention how broken it is to have Avacyn and Shalai in play together.

Sigarda can protect us from edict effects while Linvala can shut our opponents activated abilitied off.

Bruna is in here to recur a fallen angel or human and her corrupted sister Gisela is in here for the odd times we can call forth a hexproof and possibly Indestructible Brisela.

The posibilities for the deck are endless. I am constantly coming up with new strategies and ideas for the deck. This is where it is right now. So enjoy, and walk in the circle of protection that Shalai employs.
