You're missing Simian Spirit Guide . In the casual version of this deck, you should also run Elvish Spirit Guide .

Ok, but that gives you red mana. Where is the second black coming from?

You could run Dark Ritual or a Manaforge Cinder w/ two Simian Spirit Guide to get it turn 1 but two spirit guides and a black mana won't cut it.

Not worth it. The more that goes in this deck that's not a shaman, the slower the deck runs: less for Rage Forger to do, less for the kinship of the Sensation Gorger or Wolf-Skull Shaman , etc.

(You are right, BTW. There's no turn-one drop maneuver for that.)

How exactly do you get the Nighthawk out on the first turn? The closest thing I could think of is Gemstone Mine but you have to tap it to remove a counter, so you can only do that once a turn. What am I missing here?
