Glad you liked. Double strike has always been a dangerous skill since implementation and seems to get overlooked by some players. I am sadly waiting on some cards for this deck so I can really try it out.
Your deck I saw made some scary use with double strike like in that combo. Shame the rest of the deck isn't easy to salvage.
Thanks for the comment!

Ya, it was probably a good idea to take out the wolf, you can definetly curve into double white rather than double red on turn two seeing that your trying to play dragon hunter on turn one

Hey man, I like the deck. I reckon you should use the new Odric aswell, cause you could then be giving double strike to all of your creatures just from one being on the field who has it :)
April 26, 2016 2:52 a.m.
Odric does seem like he could be useful. Decided to test Zada in deck first. If Zada feels lacking might go with Odric then. Going to give the deck its first test run for FNM this week if possible.

I like the idea!!! With the pumps you can effectively deal with Humans and Bant...as long as it is before or after their trickery! However, how do you deal with Languish? I don't see anyway of resetting the board.
April 26, 2016 3:03 a.m.
Simple answer to languish... You don't. Hmm... I may want to consider Warping Wail for side deck and include a few more colorless mana sources to play it. Best I can think of to counter play languish outside of trying to hold inflate spells defensively. Maybe bringing the focus spell from side to main to help with that, because if always watching is in play you can save most creatures with the spell.

Thanks for the catch. It is fixed now. Going to try and update the deck soon for the rotation. Sadly not many double strike options after rotation.

Thanks for the catch. I forgot to pull them out when I was updating. The new land is now in its place as intended.

Thinking of dropping Mirrorwing Dragon and adding Angel of Invention in its place. Put more focus on passively swinging for value then pumping for value. If I do this will likely take out pump cards for control cards. Example: Mighty Leap replaced by Blessed Alliance. Might keep a couple copies of Rush of Adrenaline in because it is a solid spell in general.

I completely agree with dropping Mirrorwing Dragon for Angel of Invention, as well as Mighty Leap > Blessed Alliance. Removal is messy but necessary. I would suggest going down one Thraben Inspector for one Village Messenger Flip, for an increased chance of an Odric, Lunarch Marshal trigger. All up to you though.

Have you considered a couple of Fleetwheel Cruiser for trample and haste? The 5/3 body is pretty sweet as well.
October 26, 2016 7:08 p.m.
Lordeh I like the suggestion as I do like the card as well. My problem with the card is that I am not sure what to take out to try this suggestion. I guess I could drop a Thalia's Lieutenant and Rush of Adrenaline to get two copies in deck? The card can make for a more impactful late game draw and still be good mid game so I will give it a try.
Thanks for the suggestion and will try to let you know the results of the card after I get another copy (only own 1 atm).

All good. I do love that Gideon, Ally of Zendikar gives everyone indestructible. I've versed a few Odric, Lunarch Marshal decks but never seen him used. Love the synergy.

Returning back to this deck after a brief test of a new deck idea. Was testing a r/u deck based on modules but returning to this deck because I realized I forgot to give a test to a card I said I would (Fleetwheel Cruiser). Realized what I am going to pull from deck to test: Stitcher's Graft. Reason for this decision is that the graft won't work well with the vehicle anyways and will move it to the sidedeck for matches I feel the equipment will have more value.
Will post results this weekend after testing at FNM. Still welcome all comments and suggestions.

Next update to come after Sat event since Fri was a no go for the deck.

Thanks for the deck idea. I've put together my own budget brew of this for my local FNM meta (Boros Vehicles, G/B Delirium, Izzet Control).
In order to bring down the cost I made the following changes, with effort to maintain the general theme of the deck:
-3 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, -2 Needle Spires, -3 Inspiring Vantage, -1 Rush of Adrenaline
+2 Giant Spectacle (For guaranteed Menace), +2 Nahiri's Machinations (This is used in place of Gideon's +1 for board-wide Indestructible w/ Odric), +3 Stone Quarry (Have only managed to pull 1 Inspiring Vantage from Kaladesh so far), +1 Plains, +1 Mountain (2 extra basics to help with mana fixing since Stone Quarry isn't reliable).
Sideboard is similar, replacing Mirrorwing Dragon with Fragmentize and Tears of Valakut with Uncaged Fury (For 2 more instances of reliable Double Strike).
Thoughts?
Regardless, thanks again!

Smuggler's Copter would be great in this deck. Would win more!
December 2, 2016 2:37 a.m.
While I like the Copter. It is a card I do not have and isn't very cheap, more affordable now then a month ago but still not cheap. I know you might look at that and think your running 3 Giddeons that are significantly more expensive, but I got those from being lucky with packs. Truth be told if I didn't have Giddeon I would likely be trying cards like Nahiri's Machinations or find some other keyword card to run.
If I was to run the copter I would probably take out the angel to make room for them to speed the deck up and maybe tweak the layout to bring inspector from side back to main deck.

Nice Deck! I love the theme you have going for the deck, double strike decks can be very powerful, combo it with Zada and that seems pretty deadly! Just before rotation I played a g/w Warrior double strike deck with Arashin Foremost and Surrak the Hunt Caller. One of my favorite decks I've ever played! Don't underestimate double strike, Check out my g/w deck that just rotated if you would like! +1
