Trying to make this deck play like a GR with ramp and burn, splashed blue for Sarkhan Unbroken and other fun cards. Looking to now refine my mana base, but I'm not so inclined to splurge on too many (if any) shocks and such. Generally happy with my curve and the way the mana plays it out but just want higher chances to have then lands in play, by second turn, needed to cast Rattleclaw Mystic and/or Roast or, failing one or the other, Mana Leak. In my mind, this is a budget deck so I'll just wait until these cards rotate out of Standard. Suggestions would be helpful, Cheers.

Two things I've noted while playtesting this deck is that, one, I'm always running out of cards with little draw, and two, that I have alot of mana to use but not so many cards with a high CMC.

-1 Mana Confluence +1 Browbeat Mana Confluence is a good card but I find myself chipping away at myself all too often. Making this change decreases my total mana and also provides cards, and they usually help. I would like to make room for second browbeat somewhere as it either supplies hefty damage or card draw.

-1 Xenagos, the Reveler +1 Garruk, Primal Hunter Xenagos works well with creature heavy decks, and while he has his uses here with loyalty protection, he didn't make a big difference to the game as usually if I can cast him I can cast my other walkers. I still kept one copy in. On the other hand, this Garruk also helps with walker protection and making a board presence but gains loyalty while doing so. His -3 also aid just that little bit with draw power.

-1 Sarkhan Unbroken +1 Ral Zarek Even though with only two copies of Sharkman himself in the deck I wont draw him nearly as much, at least I generally wont have a dead card in hand. Having Ral Zarek in this deck aids with mana acceleration and hard removal, two main attributes of this deck. Also, not that one should take this into consideration when evaluating walkers, his ultimate will help clock my other walkers.

And hey, the more planeswalkes the better the times that will be had.
