How about Nissa Revane

Nissa Revane Is relatively good in less aggro elf decks, but ends up being too slow for much use in commander, and in duel she's needs some control andf removal to be of any worth, like Winter Orb and such. Just too expensive for little life gain and a single 2-3 Elf Nissa's Chosen, repeatable or not. Thanks for checking it out!!

Hello! I just wanted to thank you for sharing your deck! I now have some ideas on what to include in my deck. :)

Regarding Nettle Sentinel, people were recommending him was because he can make infinite mana with Heritage Druid, 1-mana elf, and Cloudstone Curio.

However, I think you already have enough ways to make infinite mana anyway, so he isn't really necessary anymore.

Thanks again!

Very nice deck man! I also run an elven themed deck based on Freyalise! You can check it in my profile to take some ideas if you like!

Sorry to be dense, but can someone explain the combos here? I noticed some of the basic ones but was wondering about other interactions.

There are so many combos it would be a big help for you to mention the ones you did get to save me quite a bit of time.

The main trick is to use any of the untapping artifacts and an elf and a board state that can produce enough mana to untap the elf and make at least one mana profit in the exchange. As soon as that happens you can gain infinite mana. Example [elvish archdruid] + [umbral mantle] + 3 other elves + infinite mana = Ezuri = win if combat damage gets through :) This combo has many variations in this deck.

Another example. [Seeker of Skybreak] + [illusionist's bracers] + Any mana producing elf = Infinite mana.

Another much more complicated combo.[Maze of ith] + [argothian elder] Ok so you go to combat declare an attack with the elder. During that declare attack phase you then use [maze of ith] to untap the elder. You then use the elder to untap a forest or such and the Maze. Since this all happens in the declare attackers step you can then repeat the process as much as needed to once again fuel any mana dump, the most common being [Ezuri, Renegade Leader]Another fun one [cloudstone curio] + [aluren] + a haste granter + two mana elfs each with cmc 3 or less. Aluren lets you drop one elf for free. Tap it for mana. Then drop the second elf for free. Use the stone to return the first mana dork then tap the new one. Repeat as much as you'd like to. :)

I am sure i missed a bunch but i do hope this gives you an idea of what's in here [kgreer] And thanks for checking it out!!

One more that doesn't have to do with mana.

Dwynen's Elite + Aluren + Cloudstone Curio = Infinite elves. Add a haste granter and hopefully that an auto win.

Great deck! I would suggest Diviner's Wand. Mainly for an easy way to draw tons of cards, especially in a elf deck that can produce a lot of mana.

Thanks Loonmoon18!!! Diviner's Wand is good card draw, but only if you have the mana to sink into it already set up, which hopefully would mean i had won already. It can be a "wincon" by leading into a "wincon" with infinite mana, but it seems just a bit too slow for what i was going for. But thank you again!!!

Definitely +1! Currently making a bro storm Marwyn deck and wanted to get an idea as to how elf tribal is built!

Hi Ronave. Glad this helped. I'd build Marwyn a bit differently then Ezuri though. Try elves like, Immaculate Magistrate, and all the one drop elves you can find, alongside card draw creatures like Soul of the Harvest and Primordial Sage. Maybe Zendikar Resurgent You can also go the counter trick root with things like Forgotten Ancient. Hope that helps and thanks for the upvote!!!

Suprised not to see any list really running Skyshroud Poacher. I can understand it being a Rebel makes things less synergistic but being able to put an elf into play from your Library for 3 is pretty solid for getting pieces of your combo.

I love that card, but Skyshroud Poacher ended up being far too slow. Anything that takes seven or more mana and doesn't basically win on the spot in this deck got cut. Now he could work real well, but i just found him, at 4 mana with no elf benefits, a wasted play except very late game (when i have haste and extra mana) which is were this deck should never be if possible. This wants to win turn 3 - 5.

Yeah I get what you mean now. Definitely been testing out last couple weeks and definitely slows down play as you could be doing so much more.
