You might not need it, but I found when I played a deck similar to this one that Magister Sphinx was really good. For the same reason as Sorin Markov . You can pretty much knock someone out of the game if they are causing you trouble

Thanks for the feedback. Magister Sphinx has been known to me for a while, and in truth I haven't really included it because it doesn't directly contribute to an 'engine' or victory condition. Yes, it does bring an opponent into the danger zone, but in truth I really don't swing out all that frequently.

Having said that, I really do see the value in having this as a play option; while I may not frequently follow through, another opponent may. I'll keep it on my short list and keep a running tally of times when I wished I'd drawn or tutored for it.

I found that Venser, the Sojourner did a lot of work in my Sharuum deck (first EDH deck I ever had). It's fun to do the infinite turn combo with Liliana Vess and Beacon of Tomorrows
