Interesting deck, one thing that seems a bit off is that I don't see any of the usual stax cards (Winter Orb, Static Orb, Ensnaring Bridge etc.) in your deck, despite it having one of the tags. Could explain to me how your deck uses stax? Its just not obvious to me.

LVL_666 I suppose I'm not really using stax in the normal sense. The only "stax" pieces are Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos and the Bros abilities. I do think things like Smokestack and Lodestone Golem could have a place to slow down my opponents. But yeah that tag might be a little misleading.

Hope that clarifies things!

Quesosity Awesome list! I used it somewhat as a template for my own Shattergang Bros deck; You'll Get Hooked on the Brothers. It's honestly been my favorite deck that I've played in quite some time. Let me know what you think of the list and keep up the good work!

I think that Harvester of Souls or Grim Haruspex could be great additions to your deck, they draw tons of cards. I also found that you are quite depended on black for your game-plan to work out but there are not that much black sources, so maybe Dark Ritual or Cabal Ritual could be of use? They can ramp you for a fast set up in the early game, and they are great fixers for black mana.

Last of Geth, Lord of the Vault could also be a strong inclusion, since your opponents will be sacrificing a lot of artifacts.

Cool deck, love these kinda strategies

Mike94 Thanks for the suggestions!

There certainly is a lot of black in the deck but I haven't had too many issues with having enough black mana to cast my spells. There are a lot of multicolor lands and fixing but maybe I'm just lucky :)

Grim Haruspex has been in and out of the deck a bunch. Sometimes it puts in work and draws a ton. Other times it just sits there and does nothing. I'm currently testing out Fecundity again. While it does give my opponents cards as well, for that reason they won't be inclined to remove it. So I get to my card advantage engine going. If it ends up not really working in my favor I'd just swap Fecundity for Grim Haruspex.

Geth, Lord of the Vault seems sweet. Animating artifacts or creatures would be pretty fun. I might try adding in more of an artifact theme in the future so I'll be sure to include him.

love the deck but it just doesn't seem like theres a win con

SamBowen My wins usually come from pretty grindy matches.

If I can control the board with Shattergang Brothers, sweepers, targeted removal, and effects like Grave Pact I'm able to swing in with creatures every now and then to whittle my opponents down. Looping Kokusho, the Evening Star with Mimic Vat, Feldon of the Third Path, or flipped Journey to Eternity  Flip ends the game pretty quick. Purphoros, God of the Forge sits on the field as an indestructible enchantment that adds incidental damage from all my creatures. If Rise of the Dark Realms resolves I usually win unless someone has a board wipe the turn after.

I have one sort of combo if I curve out with: Purphoros, God of the Forge, Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder/Mitotic Slime, and Prossh, Skyraider of Kher which would deal 28 damage to all my opponents.

No "I win" combos so instead I win with creature combat and damage/life loss from effects on my creatures and enchantments once I'm able to control the board. Similar kind of style to modern Jund/Abzan decks.

surprised you don't run Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast

goodair I had Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast in the deck for a while. Currently testing some different cards and I cut him to do so. He tends to be a 3 mana walker that makes a 1/1 and maybe kills something but usually dies within 1-2 turns of coming down. He's okay late game as a sorcery speed Putrefy but again just dies because people target him because he's a planeswalker. His minus also needs an artifact to activate which is an extra cost I might not always have available. Compared to my other walkers Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury and Vraska, Relic Seeker they can make a creature, accelerate my mana, and destroy things with no extra costs. Granted they cost more mana to cast but

In his place I'm trying Bitterblossom. It makes creatures every turn and while they're not artifacts they're a little better at hanging back to block from the flying. I lose out on the destroy a creature/artifact mode but that should be partly offset by the brothers abilities. Also, enchantments in my meta tend to stick around longer than walkers.

that makes sense, his vulnerability isn't worth the slot

I used your deck in a multiplayer deck test against myself where the setup was Brudiclad Artifacts which is mine V. Meren, Bitter Ordeal V. Krenko, Mob Boss and I accidentally found an extremely strong synergy.

I had a Grave Titan + Nim Deathmantle combo going, creating infinite colorless mana that I wasn't sure what to do with. I played a Wurmcoil Engine out of hand and realized something. Every cycle of the Titan/Deathmantle loop nets colorless mana. Repeat the cycle a couple times and eventually after the Titan re-enters, you can leave him before sac'ing all his stuff. INSTEAD, sac the Engine to create the tokens. But WAIT! Theres now a deathmantle trigger! Use it, and repeat, creating infinite 3/3 DT/LL wurms.

Hell yeah dude! That's awesome; Glad the deck is working well for ya :D

I'll have to remember that play if I ever get the combo off.

I feel like Grave Pact and/or Dictate of Erebos would be really good in this deck
