She Wolf (Nissa and Arlinn tracking for wolves)

Standard Aggro Midrange RG (Gruul) Tribal Werewolf

Naczos93

Sideboard

Introduction

Deck is based on Baby I'm Preying On You Tonight [EMN] by BlueEyes before it became a Werewolf CoCo deck. Original idea for the deck you can find here, Bark at The Moon (Orig Preying Baby deck).

I was trying to build playable and competitive werewolf deck since all cards from Shadows over Innistrad were spoiled. This deck is the best i could came out with. It still needs polishing and some changes in sideboard but it's already fun to play and it's not horribly expensive.

For more wolven decks please visit All thing Wolven thread. I would like to thank to all users that post in this thread. clayperce, you did great job starting this thread and thank to you and your deck, deck:gruul-wolves-soi, i have started to think about mine and became very excited about playing werewolfs.

PS Sorry for my poor english.

Card choises

One drops:

Village Messenger  - One of the best one drops in standard right now. Against control match ups he easily flips providing early game aggro.

Neglected Heirloom  - Have really good combo with Village Messenger  . Having turn three Ashmouth Blade + Moonrise Intruder can actually win games.

Two drops:

Lambholt Pacifist  - 3/3 for two mana is great. It allows us to stop aggro decks and thank to cards like Neglected Heirloom  , Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, Howlpack Resurgerence and Arlinn Kord is able to attack.

Duskwatch Recruiter  - One of the best werewolves in standard if not best. It might be event best uncommon in standard. 2/2 for 2 mana is fine but his ability is perfect in decks with this amount of creatures and helps us flip our werewolfs if we use it instead of casting spell.

Evolutionary Leap- Anti removal card. In current meta there is a lot of control decks. This card help us make use of our dying creatures. Allows us to block or attack more aggressively, knowing that we will be able to replace our creatures somehow. Sometimes i milled through five lands in a row thanks to this card.

Moonlight Hunt- Removal that can hit for insane amount of damage.

Three drops:

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar- She is not werewolf but she perfectly fits theme of the deck. More blockers thanks to her +1 helps her protect herself and -2 can be activated to let Lambholt Pacifist   attack.

Tireless Tracker- Great value of this card cannot be underestimated. From now having too much lands is not that bad. When placing sixth land and having him on battlefield you can still immadiately sacrifice clue, draw card and if it's not a land play it, as we don't have in this deck cards that cost more than four mana.

Silverfur Partisan- I decided to play three of them. He is good three drop but in this deck where there is no way to trigger his ability by ourselves we neeed to use him to protect our wolves rather than to combo for many wolf tokens.

Geier Reach Bandit  - This cards makes my opponets do things they wouldn't like to do. In lots of situations when they normally would pass turn they rather want to do something unnecesary for even no value than to let him flip. Possibility of casting 4/4 creature for two mana is insane.

Howlpack Resurgence- This is our anthem. It let us make aggresive attacks to finish game. Save our werewolfs in lots of situtations. It does lots of things in this deck.

Four drops:

Arlinn Kord  - Her +1 when in human form won me few games. I menaged to use it with Ashmouth Blade + Moonrise Intruder . 7/7 vigilance, menance, first strike is devastating.

Clip Wings- Helps agains Ormendahl, Profane Prince and it's good to side it in when facing heavy fliers deck.

Dual Shot- Agains mono red aggro with lots of */1 cards is good. Also mono white humans early aggro can be stopped with it.

Evolutionary Leap- Third one if we are facing very heavy removal deck.

Hermit of the Natterknolls  - Against control decks to punish them for trying to stop us.

Kozilek's Return- Against tokens decks, thanks to Nissa, Voice of Zendikar or Howlpack Resurgence our cards shouldn't be in range of this.

Natural State- Stasis Snare, Always Watching , Howlpack Resurgence.

Rending Volley- There is few targets that this will take down, Thing in the Ice   for example.

Constructive cryticism and all help is very appreciated. If you playtest this please share your thoughts about it.
