Well, she's a 3 drop, so you could get away with 3, but because she's affected by a legend rule equivalent I don't see running more than that as a good option. However, probably the biggest obstacle for running her would have to be her price which, as I recall, is at least 40$. Because of this, you should really just run as many as you can afford.

Going to still mess around with the suggestions and play test with them. for now though, going to convert this back to it's original form.

What about Fleshbag Marauder ? You can sacrifice it upon entry, and then rinse and repeat with sheoldred.

Ill do some play tests with it. I do like that it combos with Grave Pact . A repeatable sacrifice for 3 mana.

The downside is that this deck is pretty fast and usually by the time Sheoldred is out, it's game over by the next turn. I could use Fume Spitter to trigger Grave Pact for only 1 mana. But after play tests with that, I found that the deck functions better, with me not sacrificing my own creatures at all.

I've play tested it a lot online. sadly, I haven't played it. I've never even played another person at magic. ...but!!! I have this deck ready for when I do. & honestly I can't wait. Problem is my work schedule doesn't give me much free time & I only know 1 other person who plays magic in real life. That & I live in the middle of nowhere. so :/

thats my other setback. my speed is 20KB/S. as in slower than dial up. :/ (nothing else is available where I live) I can't even watch youtube out here. playing games online is beyond unrealistic. Yea I know, it sucks, but I'll get a day off where theres an event I can go to one day ...hopefully lol

I'd actually use Cockatrice since Magic Online requires a serious monetary investment.

ohhhhhh sacrifice decks!!! LOVE THEM!!! personally I love the Fleshbag Marauder suggestion, and Mimic Vat would be pretty cool in this deck with that and the Phyrexian Obliterator , hell most of it. I have a really sweet/Fun casual sacrifice deck that I'll try to put up here sometime soon that you could maybe borrow a few ideas from. it doesn't have the top end of the obliterator and Sheoldred, but it's fun as hell and got banned from my playgroup back in the day... so it must have done something right - hehe, I'll comment on this thread when I get it put up for you to check out.

Have fun with this it's a pretty sweet deck for a new guy to magic.

Nice deck- glad you got a chance to finally play irl. I know what it's like to have no one to play with.. I used to make 2 decks then go from one side of the table to the other and play both hands, lol.. +1

Sadly, the problem is the decks namesake. 7 mana is far too expensive for modern without serious ramp or back up.

Crypt Ghast is in there

July 13, 2013 11:37 p.m.

MollyMab says... #20

Crypt Ghast doesn't really help because he is a 4 mana who can't protect himself, dies to bolt, doesn't provide a useful ETB or LTB effect and by the time he is online, most decks will just run over him and kill your face.

Love the effort you put into this. I playtested this against my token deck Swarm and Conquer V 2.0 and you won the first round and I won the second two. I was impressed by the synergy between Mortician Beetle and the rest of your deck. +1 from me!
