This deck is really cool! I like it! And I'm a fan of monoblack too. :P

Just one question tho: how do you do against combo/creatureless decks? This deck revolves around sacrificing, so that would be a pretty hard match-up. You should add some discard, in the form of Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek, or peculiar sideboard cards. Try Pack Rat too, as a plan B.

Another question:why Lilly in side? That's mainboard material! :)

That said, you need some Gatekeeper of Malakir here, maybe instead of Tribute to Hunger. Fantastic card! :D

Another idea that comes to my mind is Abyssal Persecutor: cast it, beat them, and then sacrifice it to win! :D

Liliana of the Veil is in the side to preserve the original deck.

This deck crumbles to combo.

I'm really not a fan of mono black's carebear. Honestly I would rather run Liliana of the Veil in every instance Gatekeeper of Malakir could be under consideration. I might have added her when I made this deck if I understood how good she was at the time.

I have experimented with adding Lilly's and Thoughtseizes to make things competitively viable but it never went anywhere.

I like Abyssal Persecutor a lot. That card has won me many games.

I like this, but I would use Dark Ritual with casual with friends. Otherwise good deck, maybe add in deathtouch or something like with flying or Doom Blade instead or Tribute to Hunger.

I like this deck. I had a Sheoldred and this gave me some inspiration and I put my own twist on it. I don't have a swarm yard though for my mortician beetles. Is there any cheaper card that does more or less the same thing?

There's not a good replacement for Swarmyard but it's not manditory at all. It only occasionally effects games.

If you own some Spellskite you could use that instead.

I still play this deck and it does well.

Great deck man! I had a couple of Phyrexian Obliterator , Mortician Beetle, Geth's Verdict, Phyrexian Arena, Grave Pact and Tribute to Hunger just laying around in the wardrobe and never knew what to do with them ..until now, so tks for that!The only difference is that I rather run Gatekeeper of Malakir than Tribute to Hunger. +1

Sweet, how is Gatekeeper working out?

He's being quite useful due to his versatility. As a 2/2 body he manages to prevent any 1/1 free hitting at us or at least makes our opponent think twice if he's willing to lose his X/2(or 1) creature, and we can also use Geth Verdict on him to pump our Beetle.
