Solemn Simulacrum is a good way to get your lands, not to mention the card you draw when he dies.

Also, where's your Cabal Coffers?

Phyrexian Reclamation is also a way to get your critters back from the grave.

All are budget and easy to find too.

VX - 109 might give you an idea or two.

I was waiting until payday to get me a Solemn Simulacrum but what should I trade out for it? As for Cabal Coffers, I honestly thought I had one but I guess I'll have to grab one this payday too. Phyrexian Reclamation is pretty good and I'm a idiot for not thinking of it.

Buried Alive helps you find things to fill your graveyard, so Sheoldred can find things to return.

Decree of Pain is an amazing board wipe, and can get around indestructible effects by cycling.

I am running Buried Alive and I love it.

I was thinking of trading out Pestilence Demon for Decree of Pain

I would get rid of a few lands and replace them with mana cards like Darksteel Ingot, Charcoal Diamond, Pilgrim's Eye, Basal Thrull, Culling the Weak and Bubbling Muck. Even a Ventifact Bottle would help cuz thats an expensive commander to cast, much less recast.

Once your boss is out Fleshbag Marauder or Merciless Executioner are incredible as they sac themselves then come back every round to sac themselves again.

Stinkweed Imp can be a powerful single-card engine for your deck. Dredge means more stuff for Sheoldred to reanimate, and its deathtouch-like ability makes attacking into you less desirable. Also, I really like Beacon of Unrest in any black commander decks. The versatility of being able to get a creature from ANY graveyard, not just your own, combined with also being able to get an artifact AND being able to use it again and again make it a really solid toolbox sorcery for black.

Sidisi, Undead Vizier seems like a solid value engine with your general (saccing herself to her exploit ability to get a free tutor on your upkeep). Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves are both invaluable with a contentious general like Sheoldred.

Charcoal Diamond and Jet Medallion, which both came in the C14 precon, can help you keep pace with green ramp decks as well (especially relevant with such an expensive general).

OH and Palace Siege. Both modes are incredible.

And maybe -1 Swamp +Swiftfoot Boots

Cut Abyssal Persecutor for Palace Siege.

Cut three Swamp for Swiftfoot Boots, Cabal Coffers and Jet Medallion.

I don't know how effective Stinky would be. Have you considered Champion of Stray Souls instead of Eater of Hope?

When I first got Eater of Hope I thought he was going to be a excellent sac source to benefit Dictate of Erebos and Grave Pact once I finally get one. But he was just so hard to get going, so I think Champion of Stray Souls will be a better fit.

Who should I take out for Solemn Simulacrum?
