First Deck List Storm Shimer Zur

Card Reasoning: The only odd card i have in the deck IMO is Ancient Excavation

My reasoning for adding this is, if i fail on my Necropotence draw but i pull Ancient Excavation then i can cast it and redraw and have a way higher chance of getting the artifacts or anything i need.
Also as it's an instant i can cast it in respons to a counter and try and draw a free counter if im in a bad spot.

How i Play the deck: Plan A

The way i play which might not be the best way but i find it the most fun for me is, i rush Zur the Enchanter and swing to get Necropotence. Then i draw 30+ cards and hope i get Shimmer Myr and can storm off that turn.
Normally donst go that well but thats normally turn 3/4.

The other way is what i call playing safe. i do the same rush out Zur the Enchanter and normally when i swing i look at the board and decide if i can win next turn i get Necropotence.
If i need to deal with somthing i get Grasp of Fate.
If im out of options or need some slow card draw i get Mystic Remora.

Plan B

If that fails and a key piece gets countered or exiled i have a card:Dooms Day Pile. which is
1. Draw more then 1 card card
2. Protection card
3.more draw
4. Laboratory Maniac
5. Another Draw card


i say draw card as you might have used or have it in your hand so you gotta think on the spot. Sometimes having a mana spell is also needed.
