Attack of the tiny monsters! This deck has been pretty fun. It Really relies on Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker to get combos off.

Generally you want to have a couple mana in hand and some turn one or two drops. Defense Grid is great card to staret with in your hand since the deck doesn't use any instants, just activated abilities. This card makes you seem friendly(well friendly for a mono black deck) and makes it so people have a more difficult time zapping out Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker.

There are some great combos, I'm not going to list them all but here a few of my favorites.

Abyssal Gatekeeper + Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker + any other power 1 or less creature and a sac outlet. This basically creates a make shift Grave Pact which can be quite fun. Even more fun if you have Grave Pact out as well. Good way to clear out the board of creatures.

Coretapper + Magistrate's Scepter + Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker = infinite turns (assuming Coretapper doesn't have summoning sickness.

Mindless Automaton + Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker = lots of card drawing. I have had this put me miles ahead.

Corrosive Mentor + Necroskitter + other creatures to dish out damage. I haven't actually pulled this off, but it seems fun.

Some disadvantages to this deck:

1) It's mono black so your options are a little more limited than a deck with 2 colors.

2) A few good hits to Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker or some well placed board wipes can take this deck out pretty quick as well. I once had a huge army that got wiped out by a well placed and cheap costing Bonfire of the Damned So take care to defend Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker.

3) Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker rulings. She/He (not really sure on that) has to be in play when the power 1 or less creature dies to bring them back. The nice part is that She/He brings creatures back at every end step.

Changes to be made

I want to get Miren, the Moaning Well because who couldn't use another sac outlet and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth cuz it's a mono black deck, so it should have it.

I also want to change the swamps to snow covered swamps to have Extraplanar Lens just advantage me.

At some point I might wanna throw in a Lashwrithe at some point. We will see.

I have only played with this deck about 7 times but so far I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm always open to suggestions and we will see what changes over time.
