My mono black commander is a fun spirit from Betrayers of Kamigawa, Shirei.

It's an odd mix of weenie aggro and control

Some things to note:

1st - The latest any sac shenanigans should be done should be on the second main phase, that way they come back during that turn's end step

2nd - While it does use a bunch of cheap little creatures, it's very grindy, your win cons are essentially Blood Artist and Falkenrath Noble draining people to death with our sac shenanigans, or somehow beating everyone to a pulp

3rd - If your guys get pumped up with a gauntlet of power or a bad moon from your opponents, you're essentially screwed as Shirei's effect does nothing when our creatures have 2 or more power
