An underrated instant I've absolutely rocked face with in my Zurgo deck Ezekiel 25:17 is Arcbond. Instant speed, 3 CMC, and if you are attacking with Adamaro or another fattie, it's beautiful.
Nice deck, cool concept +1

Hey babydaggers. Not heard of Arcbond. Thanks. Have you made much use of Assault Suit in your build? Even if just for shenanigans. Might suit the inverted 'group hug' theme here.

Draw_Wurm I really like what you you mentioned. I'm also not a big fan of infect but using Chandra's Ignition with it is great and that card is severely underappreciated. On the other hand I'm a big fan of large creatures beating faces (shameless plug for my deck From 0 to Dragons) but I agree that straight beaters are rarely useful even when beat down is the entire purpose of your deck.
By the way Wild Ricochet among those cards is nice because you get to redirect the original spell as well as the copy. This can save you from any number of removal spells or turn someone's Cyclonic Rift or Insurrection right back into their face. It's sort of a difficult card to run when you aren't making a lot of red mana but I'm a fan of it since I don't think anything else combines those two effects.

Draw_Wurm yeah it's never hit the board, but I have it in there for the laugh. I definitely think that could be good in this deck as well, perhaps other "here, take this hot potato" cards like Crown of Doom? Not sure how deep into that strategy you want to go (the crown is less wild than the Assault Suit).

Is Ghirapur Orrery a card that you might want? It helps everyone, but with the group slug aspect it could help to fuel your opponents hand size.

joecool1299. You may get a kick out of this, as have been reading your threads re: unplayable commanders. Think there's like 16 Adamaro decks on EDHREC, so not strictly unplayed but low nonetheless.

Thanks for viewing! I love the idea for this deck and it looks pretty solid. I do feel like Gamble is a must though. And Sandstone Oracle seems cool but might be unnecessary with all the wheels in this deck

This seems like a good deck for Goblin Welder, have you experimented with this card Draw_Wurm

Hey Perfect_Phyrexia. Haven't yet. It's a solid suggestion, but issue at this stage is what to cut.

A Mountain maybe? How much has Soul of New Phyrexia been doing? Another suggestion I would have is Mana Geyser since it goes infinite with Reiterate.

I can tell you like to play out there commanders, but you may wish to rethink your approach with this one.
Within red, you do't really have political spells. Red doesn't play politics, it plays war, so things like Avatar of Slaughter, or Warmonger Hellkite, or even lowly Goblin Diplomats.
With your build focused around Adamaro, you'll want to keep pushing people to draw spells, but not play them, and I'm sorry to tell you, but the only way red can really do that is through land hate.
However, if you want to go the opposite route, Just remember that Mana Cache and Mana Flare are both spells too.

Hey TheRedGoat. Thanks for the feedback. You're right that red doesn't play politics as such. I guess one thing with this build is that Adamaro is a bit of a red herring. It benefits from the card draw, but the real threats are more likely to be from the rest of the creatures. We can Voltron if we want, but it's actually more a way of distracting opponents and giving us a powerful chump blocker. In terms of resource denial we run Jokulhaups, All Is Dust, Stranglehold and Uphill Battle all of which slow our opponents down. We also run the Winter Orb, Torpor Orb, Voltaic Key, Relic Barrier, Icy Manipulator suite for denial we can turn off and on. A more cutthroat mono deck may run more land destruction, but that's not really the ethos of this deck.

The only cards I can think of are Ugin's Nexus and Otherworld Atlas. I know you have Stranglehold and I wouldn't remove it but the Nexus bites back if it gets destroyed and you don't seem averse to redundancy. The Atlas is another card that works nicely with Voltaic Key.

.... why may I ask isn't Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded in your mainboard. You just can't play red without Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded. He is the best planeswalker... card ever printed!!
No, seriously put Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded in your deck, please.

I'm not sure, don't know the commander format too well, just started playing it.
The joking side of me says: replace your commander with Tibalt :P .

Eh tibalt isn't great, as much as I love him in tiny leaders he just doesn't do much unless your REALLY taking advantage of his +1, which is hard due to the random effect.

Why not Black Vise?
I really like the deck by the way!
October 27, 2016 2:28 p.m.
Hey Titilanious. Thanks! No Black Vise because you have to select an opponent. So less suitable for multiplayer (normally play in 4 person pods).
October 27, 2016 2:34 p.m.
Hey DarkAngel367 sadly you can't run Tibalt as a commander ;-)
Kind of agree with Bananastormcount20, like the card, but probably not the right fit here.

I feel like maybe Icy Manipulator and more-so Relic Barrier could be replaced with something like Tangle Wire or Orb of Dreams which combos with Smoke, Winter Orb and Static Orb. With cards like Goblin Welder, Scrap Mastery and other forms of artifact reanimation, one can keep the fade counters on Tangle Wire plenty while having the ability to kill indestructible artifacts like Darksteel Plate, Darksteel Forge or a board under the influence of a Guardian Beast / Avacyn, Angel of Hope. I hope these suggestions have been helpful Draw_Wurm

Thanks gonki appreciate it. It started from trying to brew EDH decks with underplayed commanders, particularly mono coloured for the interesting constraints. I've got a mono Horobi brew which I've played for the last few months which I'm going to dismantle for parts and trades to build the Adamaro deck:

In terms of the Adamaro deck, the draw artifacts suite works well, and Winter Orb and Torpor Orb, War's Toll and Uphill Battle and Urabrask the Hidden slow down our opponents ability to benefit. I don't normally like infect in EDH, but Blightsteel Colossus + Chandra's Ignition is a nice wincon, and the colossus shuffles stuff back in if it hits the graveyard which works well with the wheel effects. Hellkite Tyrant is an additional wincon via acquiring artifacts, and Adamaro all Voltron-ed up is the 3rd.
I'm not wholly sold on the Reiterate\Reverberate\Wild Ricochet effects, but not really tested them.
Chandra Ablaze is a way to deal damage/remove and another way to get Anger into the graveyard on top of Anvil of Bogardan (or it dying in play)
Metalwork Colossus has synergy, but it's just a beater and it feels like we need ETB effects or rattlesnakes. Hence no Taurean Mauler or War Elemental. I thought about a Darksteel Colossus or one of the Ulamogs as another threat that also shuffles the graveyard back in.
Batterskull I thought about running for more lifelink.
Also wondered about running more low value chump blockers like Soldevi Sentry, Runed Servitor etc.
