Shootiny on the Bounty

Casual BRGW

ClockworkSwordfish

Sad that you can't play Chevill, Bane of Monsters and Mathas, Fiend Seeker in the same commander deck? Smarten up and pick a better format - they can play together just fine in a regular 60-card deck! Both being legendary, either one can be grabbed during a Time of Need. After laying in wait for 23 years, Bounty Hunter provides the backup by picking off anyone that Chevil or Mathas deem worthwhile. Getting two cards and 5 life every time you kill a creature is sure to put you ahead!

Viridian Longbow allows Chevill to collect his own bounties, since sometimes you need to do the job yourself. Leyline Prowler also makes a surprisingly good archer while providing some much-needed colour fixing. Parting Thoughts gets you an extra card (or more, depending on how many bounties you've slapped on it!) at the acceptable caveat of a little life - who cares if you're already gaining 2 or 3 points from one of your legendaries?

Of course, placing bounties everywhere is apt to make you unpopular, and until it's actually killed, a creature with a bounty on its head can stomp you just as well as one without. That's where our eyes in the sky Kulrath Knightfoil comes in, scaring anyone under bounty to lie low for a while. Even without a way to kill them, Mathas combined with a Knight can shut down your opponent's whole army!
