I've done a lot of playtesting and helping build this shell a dozen ways since the prerelease. I feel strongly that I've made this deck as good as it can be in the current meta.

I've worked hard on the side board. With tech like Curse of the Swine combined with the convoke effect of Chief Engineer has the ability to answer as one of the best "board wipes". Triton Shorestalker is another card seeing some play but not enough. It doesn't have the power to be in the main, but can really work hard in the mirror and aggro matchups. Annul is a no brainer. Bestow and aura decks are a thing in the meta now. Add on this list and you must play an answer in the side.

No the main deck looks a lot like others, minus Trading Post. I didn't like Trading Post and always wanted the rest on my cards to be more consistent. I've also swapped Shock for Magma Jet. The ability to scry two deep really powers this deck to a much higher level of consistency. Generator Servant as a three of is my most debated card. In my dream hand it can be back breaking. Other times I wish it was another artifact mana source. The power it brings in a good hand has tipped it to it's favor for now. Come rotation, the biggest hit this deck will take is the loss of Rapid Hybridization. I don't think other pilots understand how much work this card does for us. Not only is it the best removal this deck has but it also ensures our Scuttling Doom Engine always goes off. No matter the situation.
