This mid-range deck forces the opponent to discard and runs four Shrieking Affliction. 4 Mutilate keep the board clear while allowing your bigger Desecration Demon to remain.

I've been playtesting it against my (excellent) aggro deck Rakdos Whoopass and the mono-black deck wins half the time (maybe a bit more), which tells me that it's definitely a solid deck.

I'm wide open to ideas and suggestions, including ideas for how to add some cards to make this a Modern deck. For example, I would probably bring in Sangromancer if I convert it to a Modern deck. I'm also open to sideboard ideas.
